The Probe Droid's optical sensor is blown to bits by the blast and the hits to it's neck decapitate the droid entirely, knocking it's round, flat head to the ground. However, it sputters and begins to spin in place, like a spinning top, as the sparks begin to fly. Moments later, it explodes in a several meter radius, significantly damaging the other two droids.

Damage put it at WT. Triumph activated its self-destruct mechanism.
Captain Kettel draws his blaster and shoots at a probe droid (#2).

The Probe Droids shoot back. First, erratically, shooting past Hell and hitting the snow bank. This, however, helps the second droid to find its range and hit the mark.

Thino lines up his sights on the droids, not wasting a thought on the explosion from the one that Vesper and Helios had downed. Thinking that it was a good strategy to try to concentrate fire as they had he aims at the droid Kettel had just targeted.

Thino's blast sets the second droid to explode. It, in turn, self-destructs, which encompasses the 3rd droid. Tattered and barely functional, the third droid self-destructs, as well, in a flurry of sparks and fire.

Players may make a post-encounter Recovery in the OOC. A Simple (no Difficulty) Cool or Discipline check. Each Success reduces Strain by 1. Triumph is reduces Strain by 3. Advantages are of no use (But it someone rolls a bunch, then maybe I can throw in a freebie.)

I think there may be some tissue damage, but I'll need to wait till we get somewhere safe to check it out." She glances over at the smoldering droid wreckage. "The Empire probably knows we're here now. If whoever's in this bunker isn't coming out, I don't know if there's anything we can do to convince them otherwise."

"If they are in there it looks like we may have blown their cover. Here's what I suggest. We have the ship come and pick up some of that scrap droid. I pilot it to the top of the hill and we push small pieces of it down the air vents for someone to find. The rest of you check out the med bay. We meet back up where we are currently parked and go check out the third group. Oh keep you eyes out for large cherry popsicles I hear Vader likes carrying one around."

Thino dusted himself off recovering from the fight and feeling energized, this was his element, “whatever we do we need to do it now so decide on something and then let’s proceed with the chosen course of action, like Helios said, we are on the clock and the imperials obviously haven’t left yet.”

With Lanna's help, Vesper is hoisted up further than she thought she would be. The Wookiee gets her up MUCH higher than any human could have done. There is a screen and some ventilation panels there that regulate air passage. By opening one wider you could possibly speak into it.

"Generate boost dice on other physical checks performed later or by allies that turn."

With a successful Mechanics check Vesper can move the panels to possible speak into the shaft. (P + 2 Setback + 2 Boost Dice from being at shoulder-level instead of only arm's reach.) I changed the Mech check from understanding the inner workings of the ventilation system to simply being able to open the vent panels. No assistance from others. You lack proper tools at the moment to properly disassemble the vents.
I originally thought you meant the climber needed to roll Athletics, but I think you meant Lanna to roll.
I would think that standing on someone's shoulders would be the epitome of a combined check.

Vesper is on Lanna’s shoulders dismantling a vet, Kettel, & Hell are watching closely as Thino takes a second look at the door pondering how he might get inside (perhaps being out-of-sight in the dug out path to the door). It is then that you hear a clear, crisp human voice speak from a short distance behind you…

“Just as I told you, Lieutenant Pitts…..”
SCAVENGERS!!!!!

“It didn’t take them long, did it? It’s been little more than a cycle of the sun and ALREADY they come to PICK through the bones! Somehow they always know!”
says the taller Imperial Officer says to his shorter compatriot.

“Yes, Commander Cooks,” the shorter one replies.

You see behind you (towards Echo Base, but to the right in the gap between the base and this mountainous hill) two humans wearing Imperial uniforms under their heavy cold-weather coats. The taller one referred to as Commander Cooks is over 6ft tall, late middle-aged, fair-skinned with a rounded face whose cheeks, chin, and nose are slightly puffy. His companion (Lieutenant Pitts) is pale-skinned, with a reddish-brown goatee. He is shorter with a slight jaw and chin line. Lined up to either side of them, filings into formation with weapons drawn are close to a dozen Snowtroopers. (Medium range)

Turning to us Commander Cooks firmly instructs the group…
“You are trespassing on Imperial property! Cease you activity at once!” he says looking at Vesper tinkering with the vent.

Just then you hear across your comlink a communication from the ship, “Guys, I detect a small group of lifeforms moving your way from the north. Be on the lookout.”

Vesper throws the grating over the top of the snow-covered bunker and puts her hands up. Being sure her words echo through the open vent, she says, "Oh, Imperial forces are here!" She slowly crouches so Lanna can help her back down. "Sorry about that, officers."

"What was that?" says the Commander as the sound comes across Vesper's comlink. Vesper suspects that it wasn't completely audible from where the Imperials stood. "And what is that you're tinkering with up there?

As the Commander speaks, the Lieutenant moves forward with a few snowtroopers inspecting what is lying nearby as if looking for things the group may have gathered around them. "You can give up any hope of salvaging items from here, if that IS your true purpose here. And these Probe Droids?" (He points out into the field in front of the hangar.) "It will take a small fortune for you to "compensate" the Empire for their destruction. Perhaps YOUR SHIP will be enough to cover the costs!!!" says the Commander as the Lieutenant looks over the people in the group and walks closer to Helios since he was the one speaking.

"If you are SALVAGERS, then WHERE ARE YOUR TOOLS?"
asks the Lieutenant defiantly!

"SEARCH THEM!!!"

Hell knows Imperial Officers to be quite difficult to fool, but at least these ones had not realized their true identity. Perhaps they may get through this yet!

The Imperials barely begin to engage and hadn't even begun to search us when a fairly loud sound is heard by everyone close to the group. It is a 'sucking' sound, as if a vacuum seal is being broken. Thino immediately notices the vacuum-sealed door swinging open in front of him!!!

Before Thino can speak, out walks several Rebel soldiers carrying rifles.
"RESCUED AT LAST!!!!! Whew-wee!!! Are we glad to see you!!!!

Apparently, the Lieutenant and crew hadn't even got far enough to see the doorway or the pathway dug into it. The Lieutenant's jaw drops open as Rebel soldiers appear on the scene from nowhere! He points to Helios & Vesper and says menacingly, "YOU!!!!"

***PC's may roll for initiative. You may use either Cool or Vigilance as either may apply at this point. Please post the rolls in the OOC.

The Rebels Soldier's training kicks in almost immediately as they take position to lay down some covering fire at the line of stormtroopers flanking Commander Cooks a short distance away. the Snowtroopers, in turn, raise their rifles, take aim, and return fire. A flurry of blaster bolts erupt over the heads of those in between them. At least two Rebels fall and lay motionless as the Stormtroopers press the assault, protected from most of the bolts by their laminated armor.

Lanna draws her Vibroax and wades into melee with the advanced Stormtroopers who attacked Kettel. With her wild swings she lays waste to two troopers and disarms both of the others.

one advantage is not enough to trigger blast (which is stupid for grenades) I also don't know what type of grenade it was as the snowtrooper had it so I don't know damage.
