Re: Arc IV - OOC
Failed that Blood Trail roll. Foresee is a wash. Does it make sense to make *another* Perception check with the same dice, this time for sound?? If so, then someone can roll it.
Fail again and we just go back inside and close the door, I guess.

Yeah, the sound one is a different check than the blood one, but you can roll it now if you'd like. And then I'll move us on with the results of the check.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

So, can we tell if this is where the creature broke OUT FROM or whether it broke INTO this store front? If the debris scattered out into the street or into the building?

Re: Arc IV - OOC
A cursory glance makes it look like it broke into the storefront, based on the transparisteel's scattering.

Arca might be able to localize that "nearby something" if she informs Arca of her suspicions.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
What kind of store is it? Any association (possibly) to the reason they broke into THIS store? i.e food, is it a butcher shop? Or, does it appear random?
In horror movies, people break into the sporting goods stores for crossbows, aluminum baseball bats, and such. .

You need to get closer and investigate. You can't tell from outside, there're no functional hologram signs around near the broken ones, and none of the shops have physical signs.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
OK, can I have a perception check from the group (best skill+best ability+two boosts+any relevant bonuses from y'all's skills). Difficulty is hard upgraded once with a setback.

I think that’s Varc, not sure if there are any relevant skills though.

That'd be correct. Looks like YYG + BB versus RPP + SB. I see no applicable talents on anyone' sheets.

OK, here's its initiative.
Looks like one PC will be able to go before it.

This is the same type of beast as before? If so, would suppress be the best opening option?

Trixie can spend a Destiny Point to use Suppress as an Out-of-Turn Incidental, so no need for her to take a turn to do that. On her turn (IF she rolls well) she can Maintain the effect. She only has two Force Dice, so we'll hope for the best. I will roll it after someone goes since it only affects the beast's attacks.Doctor Who wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 12:35 pmSuppress is giving it those two blacks on its attacks. She thinks they were a bit helpful, but they don't seem to be slowing down its ability to drag Zyla.

It did upgrade the beasts first attack, then suppressed its attacks on later turns.
