Gonan will move back some as they come down the staircase, not to gain advantage, but to draw things out, timewise. They won initiative, so they would have to move and engage in melee.

Gonan will continue to back up a bit, hoping to lead them away. He wants that garbage bin to be there when hostilities break out so escaping bikes will run into it. He's pretty sure the boss guy isn't going to come down those stairs. His actions are pretty counter to his previous bold boasting, but maybe they'll fall for it.

"I, Gonan, of the Quara Tribe, challenge YOU to one-on-one combat!!!" Gonan shouts out to the leader while pointing at him (2 Successes!!). "A test of POWER!!! A test of MIGHT!!!"

"I will prepare!!"
With this, Gonan will take the Sumo Wrestler position by spreading his legs apart, squatting down, and resting his hands on his thighs. He will alternate taking one leg off the ground at a time and stomping it on the ground, first the left and then the right. He grunts and moans as he does this.

ALL OF THIS to stall for time..... He'll continue until the other guy attacks, ignoring pleas for him to stop and fight. (They DID win initiative, after all.)

Gonan suffers the brief humiliation knowing that revenge will come swiftly!!

'The FOOL!!!! Little does he know that he has fallen into my trap!!!' thinks Gonan to himself! He fancies himself the clever type!!

Gonan will "dance" about the bolts! (2 Successes on his Coordination check!!) He bides his time and waits for his moment to strike!

Gonan's ruse plays out perfectly!! In time, sounds of shouting come from inside the building, then some blaster fire and the sound of combat. In the alleyway, the previously-taunting adversaries turn to inspect the ruckus. It is THEN that Gonan strikes!!!

Gonan takes aim and tries to land two consecutive blows on his distracted opponent. The Czerka Vibroknuckles strike home while the left hand goes wide.

Gonan takes the upper hand and attempts to strike with two fists, as before. He aims up his shot carefully (+1 Boost) and back his opponents against the obstructing trash dumpster (2 Threats = +1 Boost).

Gonan knocks out the two thugs, but has to quickly jump out of the way as a speeder bike crashes full force into the dumpster from the other side sending it's occupant flying into a wall across the alley. A second speeder starts to maneuver slowly through a small gap that has formed from the impact of the first bike.

the gap is on the far side from gonan but still short distance.the dumpster is now angled as opposed to parallel to the wall.

The pilot of the speeder goes down and the speeder falls to it's side after hitting a wall. The rider gets off and takes cover behind the banged up vehicle his blaster pistol at the ready.

Gonan's steady hand and custom pistol makes the obstruction a non-factor (remove SB die for Custom Grip). He takes his time to aim carefully well (+2 strain).

That would make it medium range.

Gonan takes a careful aim (2x's) at the man running away. He's not a great marksman, by trade, but he can hold his own. 2 Maneuvers should be Medium range.

The opponent collapses to the ground no longer moving. Gonan barely has time to duck behind cover when the stairwell door burst open with his ally being thrown through by a large human. two other humans are following close behind.

The man continues to run further down the alley, weaving as he goes (+1 Setback die). But Gonan steadies his hand with his Custom Grip (Removes Setback Die). He takes careful aim.

"RATS!!!" exclaims Gonan. His pistol only goes out to medium range. The target will be out-of-range in the next few seconds (by next round).

Gonan seizes the chance to chase his prey. 'THIS must be the guy!!!' Gonan thinks to himself. He launches himself past the two men laying down covering fire and makes chase. He is far behind, as it is. It will take a feat of athletic prowess to catch up with this man. Then again, his opponent isn't too swift.
