So Varc is leaving the pods and not doing anything else to check his handiwork?
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.
Re: Arc III - OOC
I thought the computer was in the room.

The computer is the one you saw to get into the room, the one flanked by the doors, one door of which you opened.

There are the relevant bitsDoctor Who wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 3:48 amWhile Varc is poking around, the others notice that the two doors have access panels, and that the one on the left has a countdown going on it, while the one on the right does not.
Varc is unable to figure out how to slow down and parse the stream of diagnostic data, but he does manage to keep any trace of his efforts from being logged in the system.

My bad, the die has been cast! Varc will exit the room to check the computer with ST-3R.

Re: Arc III - OOC
The adrenaline was sent to the ones I just suffocated? Or the other room?

Is Arca doing anything with the weird adrenaline spike in Zyla?
Also, are y'all gonna bolt, or at least check the other room, or wait for whatever security team is coming to arrive (if there even is a security team still...)?

Re: Arc III - OOC
I think I made my case (IC) for Trixie staying, although she is open to persuasion from others. She is also the face, so she could possibly talk her way out of trouble or even find out more information. Of course, "security" could be a bunch of battle droids or some kind of 'leave-nothing-alive-massive-assault' from a distance if they fear what is here. Or, yes, there may be NO security team at all to respond!
I am not big on "checking" the other room, but it might make sense in the story to do so. Trixie won't oppose it. If there IS trouble, then best to confront it here, in a confined space, rather than have it running loose and us having to search it out.

Re: Arc III - OOC
The same adrenaline boost that was given to the pod people (which I'm not sure if Arca knows has happened)? Or is this a "sympathetic" reaction to what's going on with the other "patients" that's being transmitted to Zyla via the Force?Doctor Who wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 3:48 pmIs Arca doing anything with the weird adrenaline spike in Zyla?

Re: Arc III - OOC
So Arca just witnesses an adrenaline spike in Zyla. OOC it happened at the same time as the one that was sent into the remaining pods. In character, Arca doesn't know about that spike in pods, so it looks like Zyla just spontaneously went into convulsions and the holocron looks worried

Also, once Zyla is up and one more event happens, y'all will be getting 20XP.

Is Arca just gonna move on and keep working since nothing seems to be ongoing wrong with Zyla?

Yes. Unless the holocron says something to Arca, or Zyla's condition changes (such as a repeat of the spike or some other unexplained event).

Re: Arc III - OOC
Floor sealed off, got it. Were those rooms the creatures were in a floor BELOW us or on the same floor? It's been a long week, so I apologize if that was mentioned somewhere and I missed it in my casual review of IC/OOC.
Also, what ELSE was on this floor? We had mentioned going out for supplies before all of this, so will that be an issue? i.e. 2-3 days for a security team to arrive.

They were deep into the facility, you're a ways from them and it seems the security force is checking those rooms out first, then clearing floors.
You can find food, although it won't be a feast, for stuff on the floor, mostly rations and nutrient stuff for patients. You'll be hungry, but will have the nutrients you need.

Sooooo.....we're in quarantine until the sec-force clears our floor, unless we find a way out? A way out being through computer or force (lightsaber?)? Aside from treating Zyla, is there anything roleplay-wise we can do until then? Handwave it forward and pick it up again when the sec-force frees us? What does the GM want us to do?

I want you to do whatever you want (also, you don't know SecForce finding you is a good thing, I must remind you, you can assume it or not, but you don't know for sure).
But basically, yes, you're quarantined until you try to get out.

Yes, I was considering (as a player) that it may be a termination nuke-from-orbit squad. i.e. kill everything inside. Trixie may not be as restless as Varc, or some of the others. Given the time, after trying the computers, we can probe for exits.Doctor Who wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 12:41 amI want you to do whatever you want (also, you don't know SecForce finding you is a good thing, I must remind you, you can assume it or not, but you don't know for sure).

If you wish you can chill for the next day and a half, which will be long enough to mostly "cure" zyla, which will allow our new player @crazybirdman to step in as her

In high fantasy, Zyla would suffer total amnesia (or personality change) from her traumatic experience and emerge as a totally different person.

Re: Arc III - OOC
Nah, crazy asked me to help with personality, and chose Zyla out of all the NPCs or creating a new character, so Zyla should mostly be the same. Any differences, though, are obviously from the soul damage caused by this bioweapon
And now y'all can actually see Zyla's stats, I finally uploaded them all
@crazybirdman you can copy her post and post it as your own whenever you wish, that way you can edit it.
