That is exactly what I imagined. Two guard one that operates the bar and the other that speaks to drivers.

Ok so a Concealment check and two different explosives checks. Is our group supposed to clear the guard shack as well? Or do our friendlies do that?

I'll have to go back and check what you were asked to do specifically.

The contact number good head.SS troops have been pillaging cultural artifacts from throughout France. The Louvre Isa staging point for these operations. A particularly large and important shipment is set to leave in two nights. We have the routeand are the resistence is staging a hijacking of the shipment. The attack will have to be well coordinated and swift. We need your group to take out the sentries at a guard post just outside Paris and assume their position to stop the convoy. Resistence operators will sneak up and kill the drivers and occupants of the middle vehicles in the convoy. Another group will destroy the rear truck which will be full of soldiers. The first vehicle will also be full of soldiers. K understand one of you is good with explosives? If so we want a trap rigged to take out that vehicle if they are alerted otlr when the back vehicle is blown by grenades.

We have full plansfor your target and can provide some support with intelligence survaillence and and man power if needed for your operation.

Im waiting on player actions in the story thread. There is no hurry and I know shado is quite busy right now. I just wanted to explain what the hold up on my end was.

I am closing on my new house on March 17th so by the end of March I should be back on a regular and full posting schedule.

Two guards I suggest you try and take them it stealthily or from a distance at the same time. Player suggestions?

Can I get two people to volunteer to be shooters?

I would like to checks one for each target let's see if we can take them out in one go. The rather in the shed is slightly harder to get a clean shot on. @ThreeBFour had a silence so I assumed he will want to take a shot. Another volunteer? @SavageBob @ShadoWarrior

I'll take a shot. My character is a sniper (and I'm carrying appropriate weaponry), so I must be one of the shooters, of course.

Ok roll for your type of weapon. There difficult if the same for both to hit. The one inside has a higher difficulty to hit without also hitting the building reducing damage.

Base difficult is 30 the increased difficulty is 50 rolling between the two means the bullet hours the structure and does 2d10 less damage, I'll roll that if it matters.

Gentleman please make your rolls. @SavageBob you can also roll if two of you want to target the same person.

For simplicity sale I'll assume the shots are decently timed to be sychronous.

Before I choose a weapon and roll, please refresh my memory on something: Do I need to use a silenced weapon? If so, then I need to be (dangerously) close as the Welrod pistol isn't particularly accurate nor does it have much range. Otherwise I'd use my Lee-Enfield scoped sniper rifle.

Not necessarily. The only enemies in the immediate vicinity are the two. The others are coming in a convoy. They might hear a shot, but they are still 15 ish minutes away which is the equivalent of over ten miles.

Not even an antitank rifle (which is anything 12.7mm/.50cal or larger) can be heard from that distance. Hell, you can't even hear small artillery fire (less than 105mm/4") from that far away (not the boom of the piece firing anyway; the sound of the incoming round when it's close is another matter).

Total: 74+10=84 -30 (headshot) = 54 vs. 50 difficulty yields a hit (6d10+60; min=66,avg=99)
Bonus: 51+10=61
Character: Gavin
Campaign: Ungentlemanly Warfare
Description: attack
4D10= 23
individual rolls: 1, 0, 3, 9
images:ImageImageImageImage
I forgot the +10 for having a scoped weapon when I made the roll. I'm assuming that the 1 and 10 cancel out?

Skill Increase Roll

+1 to skill bonus

Headshot is an instant kill with a sniper rifle, even with a helmet on, at such a short distance less than 100m
