Mostly just waiting. It’s probably only a matter of time before the other group returns.

....or are people just waiting to see what Arca does?
Mostly, yes, but others can decide to do things, too. Trixie hints in the IC that we may need to press forward. She has "Weakness" as a trait so she mentions it hesitantly. As a player, I think that's probably the way to go....press the advantage while we have it. But, my character wouldn't charge into the conflict. She does think that we still need to find that cure and it looks like a science lab is ahead (along with some people who could give us answers).

Arca may want access to what is ahead, as well. Varc is the bold and brave one. I just want to give others time to act.

The soldiers that you saw:

Just with the jackets being more labcoat style rather than military-style.

Cool pic. It's almost like and Japanese and Nazi combo outfit.

I'm gonna let a PC work with Waz on this, I don't want to steal or influence Waz's neat idea with my own GM preconceptions here.

Also, incidentally, I'm planning to implement the Force duel rules next times it comes up. This is the mechanical way to replicate the things like Yoda catching the lightning, or Obi-Wan and Anakin Force Pushing each other at the same time and matching each other.

I'll post up the rules from Unlimited Power next time it's relevant, if people don't have access to it.

What skill are you wanting to use, so I can give a difficulty? And which Force power is it?

Oh, is the sound thing 'cause you're a Ryn?

If that's the case, I don't know the rules for that at all and you will need to tell me what you're wanting to do, mechanically.

No I was actually going to use the Force Power of Misdirect, which Waz'aru has, with a Range increase, already. Like Obi-Wan in the Death Star with the Storm Troopers or in the canyon with the Tuskens. I was going to add a Destiny Point to increase the Magnitude. The scary noise was to maybe give the baddies the idea their toy was awake.

OK, that works.

Make your Force roll here and I'll move us on once we get the results.

At least the Force Die roll goes my way.

@ThreeBFour Reading Misdirect, it appears to only be about hiding things from view, not creating sounds ex nihilo.

There doesn't appear to be a power for that, that I can think of? Is there an alternate rule I'm not seeing?

If I am right, then I'm down to have you roll a hard check with two setbacks, using your Cunning and using lore ranks from Arca and two boosts from the rest of the group, presuming everyone helped you.

This would keep it in line with your existing Misdirect.

Rather than 1 person not seeing you, you create 1 illusion sound, and then you also spend a Force point for the range upgrade.

Does that seem correct?

So the good news,

you will make a sound.

the bad new, it won't sound how you want it.

The other good news, that advantage means it will be a scary sound, just not the one you hoped for.

I'm leaving how to breach the door up to you. Jarkyc isn't going to make any suggestions, he wants to see more of you all in action.

Yeah, skullduggery to check it out.

Lyriss will mention it was controlled with an electronic pad from the inside, but the outside just appears to be a keypad and a port (as most doors have) that if you had a security thing you could mess with (if you have skullduggery, I'll assume you have it). They aren't expensive (this isn't a lockbreaker tool but rather a tool to help you physically mess with the lock). Jarkyc will provide one to you.

EDIT: Average check with a setback.
