I will be advancing the story to propel us towards the theme of the campaign, “Uprising”. The costs & quantity of supplies was only a secondary concern to the main campaign goal of making connections among PC's and NPC's. Connections that will help the group fight back against the Empire. There has certainly been a lapse recently as I've been traveling Internationally the last 10 days, but I am back now with lots to catch up on. Thank you for persisting, those who have been present and eager to game. :D

XP & Duty
Vesper, +15xp, +15 Duty
Lanna, +15xp, +15 Duty
Kzar, +15xp, +15 Duty
Ronin, +10xp, +15 Duty
Thino, +10xp, +15 Duty
**The Duties of Recruitment, Camaraderie, Resource Acquisition, and Combat Victory were all achieved to a significant effect.

Party Duty reaching a combined 100 will result in the group acquiring beneficial resources of some sort, per the AofR CRB (Age of Rebellion, pages 46-50). I assume something will present itself during the adventure, but feel free to make suggestions. Usually, Duty all reverts to zero upon gaining a Contribution Rank, but I am looking at altering that slightly. It seems to make little sense for a group to possibly add 60 Duty to their existing 90 Duty to get to 150, but then get a Contribution Rank in exchange for 100 Duty and reset Duty to Zero, effectively losing the benefits of 50 Duty.

Awesome, DS! Glad you're back into reliable Internet territory again.

I'll refresh myself with a reread about Contribution Rank soon. But do we need a new ship? Or should we just continue with Svae as an NPC? (I understand if that's TBD based on what happens when we get back to Hoth.)

Technically, flying a ship is arather mundane task. I could either retcon "we flew it" or Svae as an NPC. I'm not too interested in playing several PC's under the GM. We'll see about that particular NPC. I probably lean towards keeping her temporarily.

Sounds good. Maybe keep her around for now, with the possibility of a piloting-based replacement player sometime in the future (or a cross-spec for one of us).

If you're keeping track, I bought a rank of Grit for Vesper with the 15 XP.

@ Deep, would you allow me to port Hell over to this game? It would be nice to actually get to play him and not have to worry about bringing in GM knowledge. I can make any adjustments you would like including backstory etc...

I take it you might have noticed the absence of a true pilot since Svae left, eh? I think it'd be a very good idea. I'd equally as much enjoy your presence (as a player) and Hell's attitude to add some spunk to it all. I'll just consider you effectively being there in Svae's place, minding the ship and it's cargo during the trip on Mexeluine. I'd suggest eliminating the last two sentences from his background and twerk the other to say recruited by Rebel operatives. Maybe to run some crazy-risky run past Imperials. You'll have to pick a Duty. He can start with 10 Duty. Space Superiority? Support (flying missions)? XP and the FR-thing carry-over looks fine as it is.

interesting that the images are not showing. Have you been having this issue with other rolls?


Also are you using the destiny tracker at the top of the page? or keeping track another way. I can remove it if you are not using it.

My guess is you were not since it was linked to the old website url and not working. lol. I fixed the force tracker and updated it in case you are using it.

Yeah, some of my links were through the old webpage, causing some glitches. I plan to use it, still.

I updated the Whose Turn page. I hadn't seen Kzar, last logged in since Jan 9th. Current Duty is at 90 without him. Rolling with what we have now, an 88 falls to Hell Loco (+4 WT), the rest get +2 WT. It makes sense since we haven't returned to Echo Base yet to collect the accolades for completing the mission.

Yo guys, if swrider is going to join as a dedicated pilot would it be cool if I changed my characters specialization? I did the gadgeteer to be kind of a cross pilot mech but honestly doesn’t seem like it’s going to work out.

Nothings happened so far that has needed me to roll skills and my backstory wouldn’t change at all but wanted to see if it would be ok.

Specialization or entire Career? Gadgeteer still works as a mechanic and you are still relevant in combat with your current Career/Spec. Flip some attributes and skill ranks, IMO. It was how you envisioned your character, a BH turning his talents for protecting people against an oppressive gov't. I want you to play something you'd like to play. Thus far, Thino has been great in his RP'ing with the group. What did you have in mind?

Oh yea I was going to stay a bounty hunter just maybe choose a different speacialization, not change career, still keeping the same theme and everything.
I’m actually thinking that maybe the skip tracer might be a bit more useful to the group and give the character more time to shine which is the only reason why I asked.

Sorry, that was replacing Svae with Helios (Swrider) only. I figured he was there at the beginning, replacing the pilot who was first with the group. There was an equipping scene the beginning PC's had before the mission, one Ronin Wayne would not have been on. Sorry if that wasn't clear. However, once you get back to Echo Base, you should be able to pull from the same supplies. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I should keep my mouth shut but.. By Raw Piloting checks are 1/2 sil rounded up and speed the larger number upgraded by the smaller. We should be in a sil 4 vehicle at speed three the difficulty would be CCd pluss two set backs with your dp flip that is three challenge dice pluss two setbacks.

Do you want me to roll that or the lower difficulty you gave.
