the cargo bought on that planet was meant for hoth and its weather so probably we don't need it any more, and could be used for trade id think.

He's not being deceptive about it! You notice easily as you stand there.

You didn't rub him the right way. Didn't answer his questions, played a little sly. He's more of a straight-forward dude. Called him a 'fellow traveler' when he's actually a bit bugged that he doesn't get out much like he used to. He actually does not travel much at all. So, you sort of stepped in it like when you call someone "Mister", but it's a woman.

DS, let me know if a Deception check is needed for the cover story about being traders. I get the impression this guy doesn't really care, but I'm happy to roll if it would make things more interesting.

Looks like a potential deal might be reached to get the Empire off these guy's backs in exchange for refueling and repairing the ship. Hopefully he'll be forthcoming with the details of the Imperial entanglements he's been suffering (or we can convince him to be).

Yeah... I we are actually the traitors that the empire was looking for. But hey we can keep a galactic wide entity from messing with you with our one little ship. Which we need you to repair for us. Oh and do you have any spare fuel. Don't tell the empire we are here they might mess the place up again....


I like the thought process, but I don't see that going well.

They might be willing to help us stage a raid on the unguarded fuel depot that one of the PCs knows about. But that is putting a lot of trust into people we don't know. Plus if the Empire was here the day before and trashed the place, who is to say they didn't leave behind espionage equipment. Scanners/ listening devices/ droids etc...

I love the train of thought, and knowing Vesper it is actually something she would likely think of, however thino has a great deal of information that he has not yet had an opportunity to share that will change everything.

I.e. lone fuel depo, damaged ship, sector blockade, and the armature bounty hunters.
