"Ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Tolerate it?" he exclaims. "They don't even know it exists!!! Or, at least, WHERE it meets. This pirate swapmeet relocates every few days. Here today, gone tomorrow!"

"There aren't many folk 'round here. At least not anymore..... Drive up into a forbidden zone, is that what you're about to do? Who'd want to do that?"

"Think of us like a Chandrillan house biter: It can get by just biting toes, fingers, and backsides. But the best meals come by biting people right between the eyes." She shrugs at the coder. "So any advice on what's in this forbidden zone? Just so we don't all get swatted."

"A Chandrilla-whaaaaa???" Apparently, Heran knows only to lend you some speeders and wasn't filled in on the particulars. "Cor-in-thum was closed off by the Empire's forces yars ago! Sumtin' about an industrial accident in the city of Corin, they say. No locals live up 'der anymores. An abandoned city...and an ol' fuels depot pas' there. I s'pose 'der might be sumtin' up 'der worth salvaging, but rumor has it the area is uninhabitable."

"Sumptin' like that. I don't know no one who ever goes there."

"This sounds like hocum. But surprisingly devious, from the Empire, if its just a ruse to protect their fuel supply. Are there any residents here who were familiar with the city or fuel depot before the imperials shut everyone put?"

"I'VE been 'round here a good while."Heran says with some pride. "One day Corin was there, next thing you know....no one was there. Wherever they went, none of them came by Lost Point."

Thino's antena perked up, that doesn't seem right, he thought as he began to look around, There's always someone who knows something.

"Lost Point, you see, moves around to avoid the authorities. At the time Corin went silent, we were nowhere near here."

( (1 Adv) Picking up on the subtleties and vagueness of Heran's remark, Thino thinks the people of Corin may not have gone anywhere, and are still there. Living or dead. )

Joons, Cintilla, and the rest return with good news. They saw people starting to move some of those crates. "They had this insignia." as Cintilla shows you a rough sketch of this symbol scratched on a spare piece of tin.

AVG. Underworld check needed to ID. +1 Boost as the name was mentioned on Ison Station. No one has ranks, I believe, so combined check would get 3 Boost Dice from others, max.

After wrapping things up with Heran (and promising him his share of the bounty), the group ventures forth on the Starhawks with side cars. In a short time, the group comes across the (below) hazardous sign. One of many spaced out across the landscape of hills and plains. It is universally recognized as a symbol for hazardous chemicals.
Spoiler:
The Starhawks ride 3/bike, including the sidecar. At this point it is not tactically important who is with whom, or who leads or follows. Cinematically, you may want someone in a certain spot for what they will be doing. i.e. perhaps a 'sniper' or lookout (w/ scanner) in the sidecar.
Kettel, Lanna, Helios(driving), Oona, Thino, Vesper, 5 soldiers all on 4 bikes.

Oona turns to her colleagues, "Something about that is familiar - do any of you recognise it?"

Vesper and the others discuss the strange symbol (the first one, not the hazardous one), and she remembers. "I think I recognize it."

Spoiler:
It is, indeed, the aforementioned Ivax Syndicate. The one referred to on Ison Station by larwin or Kamar (I forget which). The premiere criminal organization in the Anoat Sector. Named after the dominant Ivax Nebula that in Anoat. It seems as though they are (likely) dealing in blasters, for one reason or another. So, it seems, those space entrepreneurs (pirates) from Ison Station and the beings here seem to be on the same page, at some level. Maybe, each out for their own. Maybe working together, maybe not.

Thino spends a few moments searching the settlement for someone who may have a scanner to sell. Alas, equipment is sparse in a place as remote as Lost Point, and no suitable scanner can be found. But, perhaps something aboard the ship can suffice? In his searchings, of all things, he ran into the only Rodian he has seen on this side of the Anoat System! Noticing your heavy, load-bearing gear, armored clothing, heavy weaponry (Geonosian carbine, LRB, Vamblade), he mistakes you for a big-game hunter or galactic mercenary.

"Rotun", as he is called, (Rotunda) fled Rodia as the Empire began to seize control of the area. He's been making a good living as a technician in these part ever since. He is based out of a hot, swampy, jungle world similar to Rodia, he says. Darlyn Boda. It only has one spaceport and not many inhabitants. Good Toccat hunting there! The conversation is cut short as there is a pressing job waiting for him back at Darlyn Boda. A large starship in need of repair.

As the portly Rodian waddles away, Vesper sighs. "Wish your techie friend could've helped us with this radiation scanner. But I'll do my best." She borrows some parts from Hell and, with the pilot's help, gets to work.

Vesper Reshari; Uprising; Mechanics:
4 Successes, 3 Advantages
