- Characters would need to take a career field that fits a solider though they are allowed to have variation.
- Everyone race wold be human- clone: same as human but you gain a the trainee skill tree for free and can spend starting xp in it.
- Clones are not force sensitive.

Clone Wars
I'm thinking of running a game where the PCs are members of the 501st. You would go through the conflicts the 501st are involved in during the clone wars television series, though the missions may not always be what appears on the show. The dependency being that you will not be interacting with the Jedi or Rex but will be a sub company or unit.

Don't neglect to advertise at FFG after you give folks here first dibs.
Re: Clone Wars
If there is any interest here. If not I will probably drop the idea.

Re: Clone Wars
Keep in mind that most of the players here just committed to multiple games. You may find that players just can't stretch themselves any more.
Re: Clone Wars
That is fair, im not in a hurry though so i dont need to start a game right now. Im just interested and noticed most of the games were full.

Re: Clone Wars
I remember. But this board is a small sample size, and most of the players are fully, some over-, committed.
Re: Clone Wars
I know. I am just not in a hurry to start a game and will do so if I have at least one player I know is reliable. If not I'll try again next month.

Re: Clone Wars
A Clone Wars era campaign would be interesting, but I've never had a strong interest in playing military chain of command games, at least not that much. I've always liked more traveling group flavored games. I probably would enjoy a commando focused game, like Wraith Squadron style or Clone Commandos style, but just a normal grunt on the ground game has never really appealed to me.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Re: Clone Wars
I'm playing that because I really wanted to play
The closest I've ever gotten to enjoying military fiction is, finally, as in today, getting around to reading the Xwing novel series. And even then, the biggest draw of the series to me was my boy Corran.

Re: Clone Wars
X-wing is, arguably, the high point of the Legends EU. Most of what came after it in the post-Endor timeline was garbage. And it just kept getting worse.
Re: Clone Wars
I was thinkibg it would be more about the missons and details than chain of command. Alpha squad is a commando group. Im fine staring another but you may enjoy that one.

Re: Clone Wars
That game is full, and at the moment I own neither the AoR nor FaD core rulebooks
I'm waiting to buy the FaD when it goes on Amazon as a Prime product, which I believe it says February for that.
