Take the body with us, easier to strip it once we get moving
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

That works, too. Maybe the captives we rescued can ID him.

BA wants a lightsaber. It'll make revenge that much sweeter, killing the Sith with their own weapons.

Is that dude on the skinny rope dead or incapacitated or something?

Nope. He just failed his Fear Check with a Despair. Ran for his life. Yelled out, "I'm going for help." But really just fled for his life.

Snip the rope? A little conflict.

Does BA think he can pull the rope up, in his current condition?

Well, this isn't a game system where your exertion or condition reduces your ability to use skills (usually, anyways). Using the CRB formula (pg.152), BA can perform a Daunting Athletics check, upgraded once for a DP (ImageImageImageImage).

On that topic, the Monte Cook game Numenera is a game where attacks and hit points come from the same pool. Therefore, the more you use points to fight or the more damage you have taken, the less ability you have to do things. They call it the Cypher System. That was a stated goal of creating that system, he says.

Well, I mean, it could add a setback, since those are in the purview of the GM.

BA will attempt it.

Spoiler:
BA; Alpha Squad; athletics:
5 Successes, 4 Threats

I can narrate the successes if you want to narrate the threats.

Needless to say, you pull him up easily. 4 threats = you inadvertently bang him into the side of the platform on the way up. He is at 4/13 WT now.

Anjali will be preparing to interrogate this guy once BA has him subdued. She's also switching blaster to stun.

Anjali also has Force Influence for both Mind Trick and coercion enhancement, but BA's innate skill is going to be a lot higher there. She's also prepping Force Sense to read his thoughts. Let's start with the Sense roll:

Anjali; Alpha Squad; Force Sense read thoughts:
, 2 Light Side , 1 Dark Side

@Doctor Who , any other questions you think we should ask this guy?

@DeepSpacer , does Monty want to ask anything?

Where were they hired? Why are they willing to work for someone who carried out what amounted to a terrorist attack a while ago?

We have an opportunity to take their ship. If nothing else, maybe we can sell it for some credits or exchange for upgrades to our own ship. I'm not sure we want to hold it long term, though. No telling what trackers are built into it.

@Doctor Who are we done with this guy? Should we turn him over to Cornelius?

Did my post not go through?

We definitely need to take the ship for salvage, if we can. Have someone go over the navicomputer and figure out if we can figure out more.

Not sure about your post going through or not.

The shuttle could lead back to where they came from, possibly being a covert way inside. A little GM Hint, there. ;) Doesn't have to be, but gets us from point A to Point B. I think at least having a look is wise.

Sadly, yes. If this guy were the actual slaver (and not just a merc), she'd probably off him herself. Do BA or Monty have a different opinion? They can certainly intervene.
