Is it fine if BA goes and attacks the droid? Everyone good with that, or do the ranged people want a chance to go first?
To be clear, for a melee attack, (1) Maneuver to get off skiff, (2) Maneuver to move short to engaged.

If BA moves to melee, then ranged attacks will be made with an Upgrade for firing into melee. (Just to remind you)

Right. BA will wait for any ranged people to act before he rushes in, then.

@Doctor Who , is BA going to take the electromagnetic weapon from Anjali? We want to stun this thing, right? Ion grenades shouldn't hurt organics that are engaged with it, but stun grenades would.

That's probably a good idea.

I was originally going to go for slicing the weapon appendages off, but that's probably a better plan.

FYI, no one is engaged with the war droid. The gang fights with ranged slugthrowers, for now.

Sorry, I'm missing the initiative order. Has that been established? I rolled on the previous page.

I said I'd go last, to let the other ranged people have a chance to shoot or something.

Looks like AA & AAA goes next, unless they want to shoot into melee with BA advancing next.

Alright, I'll break the ice and go next. Anajli will stay on the skiff, since we're at Short range, aim with her blaster (set to stun), 2 strain for double aim, another strain to add a Image(species). Should be against Image difficulty.

Initiative, in case we need it.
Spoiler:
Anjali; Alpha Squad; war droid init:
0 Success, 2 Advantages

ImageImage
9 stun damage, regain 3 strain, pass 1 boost, and notice something important about the situation.
Anjali; Alpha Squad; war droid attack 1:
3 Successes, 5 Advantages
1 Advantage(s) added From talents or equipment

That gives me an idea. What's the mechanical effect if we smash the skiff into that droid? Like, what's the Sil difference?

Skiff is Silhouette 2. War Droid is Silhouette 1.
The basic book answer on collisions is "each receives a critical hit reduce by 10% per defense point". However, I am open to accounting for Speed and Silhouette. Skiff Speed 3 possible, but sitting at Speed 0 right now (stationary).

Looking at some SWFFG Forum posts, there is some ideas for using Resilience to resist the impact. (i.e. maybe Piloting vs Resilience check, modified by Speed and/or Sil.) It seemed to make sense that, like a car wreck, you roll on the critical table for a collision. It could be a temporary 'bump', or you could break a limb. I would think that a Triumph or 3 Adv would be a 'Knockdown'. Those are my thoughts on the matter.

[]Doctor Who[/] Alamy's Turn! Monty rallied the troops (AA & AAA) and negated the Fear effects. Anjali 'knicked' the war droid with a pistol. (Probably a time to use the Ion or Stun Grenades) ;)

Destiny Points should be right, now. It seems to be getting off all by itself from time to time.

3 / 3 4 / 2 (now)

@Doctor Who BA's turn. At short range.

So if it looks weak, guess I'll throw BA's one Ion Grenade.

What skill is that? Ranged Light? I completely blanked.

Yeah, Ranged (Light). Don't forget to aim if you have the spare maneuver.

No obvious leader. Could already be dead or they could just roll as a group without so much direct supervision. Could be maybe that they report back to a leader at their 'base'. Then, you could just ask them, but the moment will pass quickly and you are not too sure they respond to negotiations (like the scavenger guy hinted to).

BA is not really a face person, but I'll talk up if no one else wants to.

He has Coercion. That's an idea I was suggesting. "Back Off!!!" is an option. You go off of what you heard as far as judging how these slug gang member will act. Maybe niceties will invite violence? Or, maybe no one's ever been nice to them before? Maybe they're completely rational under those masks?

No one in the group has 'face' skills. We tend to work around it. BA' Coercion is better than anyone's Charm, but that's sort of meta-gamey. However, only do what you think your characters would do. BA's role in the A-Team (A-Squad) was as the intimidator.

My issue is that they haven't initiated hostilities yet, and I didn't wanna just break out in the threats, to strange people.

but why the heck not, let's leave a strong impression.

What would the check be?

Yeah, go for it. DS put the difficulties in the IC post. (And I need to put a point or two into Streetwise once we get some more XP!)
