The journey down the Kizer Rift has many hazards to navigate. It will be a team effort using various skills. Results will be combined to gain a result.

Monty will make an AVG Piloting-Planetary Check to stay on course with a direct descent.

BA will make an AVG Vigilance Check to maintain attention and self-discipline over the long descent.
@Doctor Who
Alamy will make an AVG+Setback Perception Check to notice key details.
@SavageBob
Anjali will make an AVG Astrogation (INT) Check to help navigate. (ASTR usually for space, but closest skill).

Regarding the group Perception check, Alamy alone is YYGG and removes the two setbacks due to talents. Would the assistance of the other PCs add a boost or two instead?

It was HARD (3 Diff), but no difference. One less Success or Advantage makes no difference.

Good roll, though. With a failure, it just all seems like junk.

Any sign of life (or sentient beings) down here, DS? AAA's 2 advantage from the Perception check should hopefully net us at least a lead to finding someone who will be neutral to us, if not friendly. A trader rather than a xenophobic gang member, for instance. Streetwise check to find out who to talk to, with two boosts from the advantages, maybe?

Figured we could try Streetwise first and see what happens. We can use the 3 advantage to maybe get some intel about local gangs to avoid?

Some yes, some no. But we do have some detection equipment (gen.purp.scanner), a magnetic tow cable/lift on the skiff, and some remotes to cover ground.

Oh! I see no scanner on the lists. I think it was an oversight that we would otherwise have bought. General Purpose Scanner, book price 500cr if someone wants to ante up. No DP flip needed. I think I assumed that someone had one.

The air here is unhealthy. Long-term exposure is bad. Might be pockets of bad air around that could be worse. Cannot hurt to have them on.

Any thoughts on the Triumph on the scan? We find some Slug Gang members fighting with one of the droids, allowing us to swoop in and save them and get in their good graces?

QUITE THE ROLL!!!! I had imagined searching many areas with that difficulty before such robust success.
To be clear, we have a GP Scanner and the Skiff has none. This search has taken about 30 minutes to do.

Interesting option, there, for the Triumph. Not a lot to gain, perhaps, by getting in their 'good graces' unless maybe they had some more stuff. One option could be to find a fully-functional droid, worth the full 20k per player. (Chassis 4k, w/droid brain 10k) One option could be to find something very valuable along with a droid, like a lightsaber w/ crystal. I don't really plan to divert into jedi-sith, but it could make for an interesting buy-sell-negotiate scenario.
