Will pause for a second. Anything anyone wants to do before descending? Items to get. Flamiel suggested Ion & Stun grenades. Consider your equipment lists. Standard prices. Don't bother with Rarity unless it is something restricted. Everyone got +10 XP from Cantina 571, so there's that, too. I seem to have neglected Monty's expenditures on xp (or, I edited and did not submit it).

BA would like to go hunting for a nicer weapon than his homemade staff, if possible. Maybe scounge up some parts to potential build a morgukai style staff if he can cannibalize more stuff along the way.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Note taken. Could possibly find something later, parts to fit in. Maybe a cortosis staff here, other parts there. Posted in the Cantina 571 OOC about

BA might actually go look for any Morgukai staves that may be on the planet. I completely understand it's almost certainly no, but in character, I'd like to at least roleplay a search out.
With over one trillion inhabitants, looking around the planet is nearly impossible. But you can look in the area you are in, or close by. I don't even know what to give that. I always like to say there is a chance. So, maybe you can make Streetwise (GG) vs RPPPP+SB to say there is a slight chance someone's heard of such a thing on the Black Market.

Meanwhile, you find a short, squat, rotund human who sells martial weapons in his shop. More as collector items and for show. He has a valuable vibro-ax. EASY check GG+B vs P to see what the deal is.

Vibro-ax Melee +3D 2cr Engaged 4enc 3hps 750 R5 Pierce 2, Sunder, Vicious 3,

I sort of prefer characters do their own rolls. That way they receive the sense of achievement if they make it. The group-roll thing works sometimes, but this is a personal roleplay.

I am not a 'crafting' guru. To be honest, I do not get into it much. If anyone knows, I would like to know how one would go about creating their own morgukai staff.

I like crafting (and one of my intentions for Anjali). There will be weapons templates, and you'll have to choose one that's appropriate fit for the staff. My guess is it will be a 5p crafting roll. That's after you've determined what parts are needed, and found and acquired them.

We have an ECM Medical Backpack with our gear on the ship. If we go back there, we can use that to decrease Monty's crit difficulty, for Anjali to attempt to heal.

Sounds great! I have some ideas on "parts".

Can-do. You can roll for 68% (AVG), but EASY with that kit.

Fits in with BA looking for his staff & fellow Nikto, perhaps. Or, Alamy can go with BA and assist.

So crafting works as mentioned, there's a template, and you can add modifications which make the checks harder as it goes.

Check on the vibroaxe:
Spoiler:
BA; Alpha Squad; check:
0 Success, 1 Threat

Dice hate me, can't wait to see how bad the next check is.
Spoiler:
Oof, not as bad as I expected.

@Doctor Who
Wow! Three blanks!!

BA has little luck asking dealers about such a prized staff. He gets some jeers and some, "Hey, buddy, only what you see."

He finally finds a dealer with a vibro-ax (with help from Alamy, perhaps) after a day of fruitless searching. "Any of these would be ideal for self-defense," he says.

With the threats rolled, this one goes for an even 1,000 credits. Asking for such an exotic item may have soured the dealer a bit.

BA will regretfully by the axe.

(I'll edit my character sheet later)

We should probably get some rebreather type things, to try to help us breathe incase of any gas leaks or whatever.

Anjali isn't the one to use grenades, but someone else might want to pick some up.

Monty is a Merc with Strong Arm talent.

BTW, can Anjali roll with the med kit to remove Monty's Critical? With the kit, it is EASY (1 Diff).

Sorry, guys; weekends are generally hectic for me with the baby at home. I'll look at purchasing some gear for Alamy tomorrow. She might be able to carry some grenades, but her encumbrance is already pretty high. Maybe this is the time for her to get a backpack, though, since we're not exactly trying to blend in with normal society for this mission.

By the way, Alamy bought two Duration upgrades for Farsight in case we end up without lights for a while. The rest of you may want to grab a glowrod if you don't have one.

I can carry the grenades. BA's a strong boy, and committing a Force Die to my Brawn makes me even stronger.

Yeah, Anjali will pay the 25cr for a breath mask.

83.3% chance for one success. Hit the 1-in-8 chance for no successes.

OK, AAA has prepared for the mission by buying a bigger backpack, an ionization blaster (moving her attachments from her other blaster to it), a breath mask, and two ion grenades. I'd suggest anyone who can spare 65 credits and 1 encumbrance buy an ion grenade, too, since she only had enough cash for two.

She's now uncomfortably decked out (so unstylish!), and also very very broke.

Much like Monty, MAXED Encumbrance! Need lots of goodies.
