What's the difficulty for Alamy to try to slip one of her weapons past the security scanners? She has some holdout stuff that is supposed to make such things easier.

As for the XP (woo-hoo!), it's tempting to get closer to FR2, but I haven't taken any skills in a while. I'll pick up Cool 1, Knowledge (Core Worlds) 1, and Knowledge (Underworld) 2.

I believe those abilities add setback dice to the other person's check to detect them. If you can determine how many setback dice there are, then i can make the roll.

OK, looks like +ImageImage. One for the concealment holster, one for the holdout blaster itself. I guess the difficulty is her Stealth pool? That would be ImageImageImageImage in total. I'll flip a DP to add an extra Image on there, too.

I'm gonna multiclass into that Bounty Hunter Martial Artist tree if we keep ending up in places where he doesn't easily have a weapon.

After we enter (to WHEREVER that is going to be!), AAA can make that Perception check.
{{Alamy (since she removes SB dice to Perception) can make a group Perception check at Formidable + 4 SB dice(B4 talents applied) in order to see difficult details and even possibly see into the upper levels better. That'll give us a good starting point.}}
I will negate those Black Setback dice on the effect if appropriate.

I like tying the Despair to something related to the gun itself. It's a fancy, ornamented blaster popular among show-off Hutts. (Real-world analogs of this exist; think mobsters who got mother-of-pearl gun handles, or gold-plated revolvers. Maybe the bouncer notices the gun, but he knows that the general is a collector of this kind of weapon, so it gets us a seat at his table, and he gains some sort of appreciation for AAA and her wonderful taste in firearms.

In short, she gets to keep the gun on her, but it also serves as a positive icebreaker with the general.

Up to you all as to how to approach this.

Background is (in case we've forgotten) that this General may or may not know who we are, by name. He may know "of" us, as in those who were fingered for the robbery of the Bank of Coruscant. He may or may not know about credits being shipped to Lannik. He likely knows of happenings on Lannik with Greckel (i.e. having difficulties, not likely the affair), but may or may not recognize us as "those" people.

He may or may not have something to do with the robbery itself. Our primary group motivation (I think) is to clear our names and live normal lives. Our secondary goal may be to find the true crooks who set us up. Our other goal is to make a living for ourselves as mercenaries or problem-solvers.

Ah, yeah, I'm easy. I'm the third GM on this game (I think) and some things slipped by. This works for the situation. :D Gameplay and flow are the most important things, IMO, at this point.

The thing about AAA's parents is really old backstory. She suspects some sort of corruption involved, that her mother was essentially murdered. Her dad has remained within the Republic bureaucracy, and he's the one who initially gave her the tip to get her hooked in with the other Alpha Squad members, by giving her a tip about the heist. So the implication is that there is something behind her mother's death, but her dad can't reveal it for some reason.

None of this has to be linked to this general guy, but it is what motivates my character. :)

Yes, it is GOOD that she is playing this out IN-Character!!! I re-red her backstory (and others) to plan out going forward.

It MAY occur to Alamy that she just "outed" her father.

I could create a difficulty if the group wants one, for a re-negotiation. No Presence-4 players here, so it'd be an uphill endeavor. I could do other difficulties, too, for Charm or Coercion. Itd take a check of some sort to change things.
