Maybe the triumph means Anjali can attempt the mod again, even if in 24 hours' time or some such? Alternatively, an upgrade on the other Mechanics check (for the armor) would work.

@Flamiel I think allowing a re-roll using the same attachment is appropriate for a Triumph. Normally, one would have to purchase a new attachment to try the mod again.

Woohoo! Thanks! Not all that's left is the mod of her Armor Inserts. Same difficulty. At that point, AAA is set.

Awesome, thanks, @Flamiel!

And love the artwork, @DeepSpacer. Where did you find it? Or do you have access to an artist in your gaming group?

Also, where are we right now? We don't really have a home base. Are we in a hotel of some kind?

Cheap hole in the wall, I imagine, far from inquiring eyes.

Surprisingly, I used an online photo editor this morning for about 2 minutes and it did everything I wanted. Drew a little red line, and it zigged and zagged a bit. Looked great! Made a red dot, used 'blur' tool to smudge it, and done! Turned out really perfect. FAR better than I imagined. Original photo was from somewhere online, google or deviant art.com.

Yeah, i get all my art from online. /tg/ on 4chan, and the FFG forums, have great character art threads to mine through.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Yeah, I mine all the Forum art threads. When I feel bored, I just search for sci-fi images online.

I have several Pinterest boards for exactly this thing. I have one for Hyperlight Echoes (with subsections for stuff like "Nosaurians" and "Performers") and some for my other games, too.

Not sure if Mr. "Don't Do Spice!" BA will be down with selling spice... Instead, it might be good, hard evidence to use to blackmail Greckel into stopping with the Nikto attacks.

Alamy's not the best at bargain hunting, but we could hand wave these into her earlier shopping trip if DS agrees. I'll roll the Negotiation checks (unless he lets Education substitute for some of them). The bacta won't do us much good without a bacta tank, though.

Don't need a tank for bacta:
It is commonly used in large tanks for total immersion, but can also be administered in pretreated patches, injection, portable pouches, and even through direct consumption. While full-size bacta tanks are rare outside of major installations, some ships often have portable tanks, and most medpacs and field kits have bacta patches.

Well, I can't carry it all. So maybe some of it should wait until we have a base of operations to store things. Each is 2 encumbrance, and Anjali is already maxed out.

Well, going over encumbrance is okay (BTW), you just take on some hindrances to things. Namely, +1 Setback die to all Agility and Brawn checks for each point over encumbrance.

Yeah, but given her low ability there, that could be crippling. I could always drop the emergency medpac for the ECM, for a net increase of 1. @SavageBob , want to roll the check to find that?

AAA; Alpha Squad; Negotiation (medical backpack):
1 Success, 1 Threat

ImageImageImageImage

Looks like AAA found it. Not sure what the Image means. Maybe it cost a bit more? We can assume Anjali pays her back for the cost (450 or maybe a bit more depending on what DS says).

Ok, Anjali pays Alamy 475cr. She'll discard the emergency medpac (someone can pick it up if they want), and carry the ECM. Result is she's now 1 over encumbrance. She needs to craft or acquire a medical droid or something.

What do y'all want to do? Pretend to be Internal Affairs? AAA might be able to make a passable lie, but without inside knowledge of what Internal Affairs does, it might backfire. On the plus side, it might encourage him to open up a bit more.

Other option is to do the "We're the ones asking the questions!" bit and just Coerce him. Not sure if any of us is good at that, or willing to take the steps to add the necessary boost dice through inflicting pain and whatnot.

Charm seems a bit farfetched unless we can convince him we were there last night to help him. Probably hard to do since he went toe-to-toe with BA!

Charm is probably long gone. Maybe negotiation or deception, but I think he'll understand the "we're the ones asking the questions" approach. Maybe blackmail time, so he knows how bad his position is.

"Question or persuade a target under conditions of physical captivity." falls under Coercion. Considering you already beat him up, it's probably time to consider stacking the modifiers. Being a Captain, his discipline is somewhat formidable. The base group skill is ImageImageImage. Using a combined check means that BA or Monty would have to do the talking.

"Upgrade" once for being held captive. Image for Nikto's presence since he is wary of them. ImageImage for BA having beat him up thoroughly. Any other modifiers? Some, of course, may be based on material/evidence, overt threats (or deceptions) brought up in conversation. Any Deceptions will require a separate Deception roll before the Coercion roll is made (Deception vs ImageImageImage)

Greckel's Discipline is ImageImageImage
