Hey, just checking back in. Things are slowly stabilizing for me, so I could probably get back in the saddle again. How is everyone else doing?

i'm good to start again.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

I don't suppose we move on without SavBob, then. Waited long enough. Thanks for hanging in there. If he pops back in, then the commlink was jammed and Alamy went off in search of a tangential clue. A clue that I can weave back in at some point.

This thread has to do with Anjali's background, mostly, in that it deals with 'forced labor' of a sort. BA had been secretly slipped a holodisk of a human servant girl pleading for help. Alamy went in and sent us a message about tagging a van behind the 571 Building.

So we're still waiting on savage bob, right?

The triumph could probably be finding a short cut or something in the direction we were going, to give us another chance to find the tracker?

We had been, yes. It's been months, so easy enough to weave him back in if he returns.

I looked up the surveillance taggers. Average ones have average distances and can be blocked by buildings. I think that's a good option! Will see what @Flamiel offers.

Well, I don't use email alerts. I just check in about daily, or so, and look for new posts. I have seen times where they work or do not work. Not sure why.

I'm not sure what "positive" Stealth skill dice means, so I'm just going to roll the skill by itself.

Yes, that is exactly that....'positive dice'. By not rolling the 'negative' dice and having the GM roll it in secret, you (the player) don't know if you were actually stealthy or not. ;)

That is....unless you roll NO successes on those dice. THEN, you know that you did not succeed!

Sending the Remote 'higher' up to the portions under reconstruction (or INTO the building) would require additional checks. You cannot see from below what may be up there other than construction equipment, a crane, girders, etc...

AVG Perception ImageImage to scout about the outside at higher levels.
HARD Perception ImageImageImage to have the remote go into a construction area up there. {{EDIT}}

Alamy is really the Perception-heavy one. Can we take a skilled assist from her?

She is not present, so no. It is not an end-all, be-all kind of roll. There's not going to be an ambush of ten armored troopers around the corner, or anything like that. In a way, making a roll helps me (the GM) to decide what options provide itself to us and sparks creativity. Anjali's not too shabby with it, anyways. You can add a Boost (ONE boost) from BA & Monty pointing out things with what they see.

Oh right, I forgot she went off on her own chase. Alright, this is for staying outside but going higher.

Anjali; Alpha Squad; scout higher outside with remote:

I removed the previous difficulty given for entering the building with the remote. I had different ideas. The remote is not noticed, for now. Further entry will be more difficult: the sound of the hovering becoming more obvious without the sounds of the streets muffling its presence, halls, corridors and rooms instead of open air, any small lights it has being more noticeable in the darker indoors, etc.... To go in and look around Floor 19 would be Stealth vs AVG + 3 SB's. Doing it with the "guards (?)" present will be Red-Red + 3 SB's. It would certainly be pressing one's luck. Otoh, no one knows whose remote this is or where it comes from. You might only risk its destruction.

So BA is down to go up there, although he's not really a fan of flying up there. But he doesn't exactly know how else to do it, other than an elevator which is pretty obvious.
