[Flamiel]

Anjali dives behind cover and flattens. How many frickin' sharpshooters are there?!

[SavageBob]

After a few moments pass with no further shots, AAA says, "Uh... Guess whoever that was wasn't after us. Just Sixxkiller. Safe to come out now?"

[Flamiel]

Anjali just takes the moment to rest, while hiding under behind this desk. Man, wouldn't have thought this would be that comfortable....

"Well, so much for the Nikto. Live by the blaster...."

[DeepSpacer]

"I guess it'd be too much to hope that something USEFUL is on his corpse." says Monty sarcastically.

"One of you should search it, just in case. I'll cover you." he say with wink and a grin, knowing that we may not be out of danger just yet.

[SavageBob]

"On it," AAA says as she looks over the body.

Using Advantage(s) to notice some clue about the weapon used to take Sixxkiller out, perhaps enough to give a lead on the shooter?

"What have we got here?"

Looking over the body she finds a datapad damaged during the fall, a blaster pistol and a communicator. Looking closely at the wounds they appear to be similar to the ones on your contact was previously shot, perhaps even by the same weapons.

[SavageBob]

"I recognize those blaster wounds. And, whoah! Check this out..." AAA reveals what she's found on the body to the others. "Can any of you make heads or tails of this datapad or communicator? Or should we head back to your base to analyze 'em? Er—after we call this in… or whatever?"

[Flamiel]

Anjali gets up tentatively and scans the area for possible snipers, then goes over and examines the body with Alamy.

"What are you thinking, that this guy is not the same one who shot our contact earlier? Did we have the wrong guy, or just not all of them?".

[SavageBob]

"Maybe he was a decoy. Distract us while something else goes on—like a burglary?"

[DeepSpacer]

"Or maybe there are layers of assassins, each one taking out the other. That way you never trace it to the source."

[SavageBob]

AAA hands the datapad to Anjali. "Here, you have a look. Anything we can do here, or do you need the lab?"

Sounds like you don't need the lab, but Alamy doesn't know that.

[Flamiel]

Anjali takes a quick look at the datapad. "Oh yeah, this is no big deal; it happens from time to time with these things. It's not actually broken, the power cell just got jarred loose a bit..." smacking it with the palm of her hand, it clicks back in place "...and there we go! Back to operational." The datapad hums back to life.

"Now let me see what we have here...." Anjali inspects the datapad to see what she can find.

Perusing the datapad Anjali finds several interesting things. The main items are a floor plan and profile of the bank which the team knows is to be robbed in the near future. The floor plan is detailed outlining security equipment and personnel patrols and the profile contains a list of valuables stored at the bank and credits available. Anjali also finds an encrypted file on the datapad.

The encrypted portion is set up in such a way to ensure it is extremely difficult to access accept when it is designed to be. the difficulty to crack it is hard upgraded twice with two setbacks.

Anjali shares what she's found with the others, and copies the information manually into her own data pad, not establishing a direct link, just in case of any malicious software.

"Wow, there's a heavily encrypted file here, too. I might be able to crack it, but there could be physical consequences if it goes bad...as in, explosive consequences."

[SavageBob]

"I told you there'd be a bank heist! And you're going to be blamed for it! Or you would have been. Not sure now that Sixxkiller's dead... So, do we need anything else from here? I can share these holo images I took, but I'm no forensics expert. What's protocol for you lot?"

[Matt Skywalker]

this smells of bantha fodder. We should prepare to stop the heist. I'm,pretty sure I have some vacation days left.(not that it'll matter if we don't stop the heist)

(Monty) "Well, it's either get back to base and get some rest, or push forward to this bank, I think. I'm not sure we could stop this heist even if we were there. Not with these pistols we have! What do you think about treturning to base, everyone?

"Don't worry on the orders, Boss. As far as they know, I am the only one who got orders to return.
We're returning alright....just very....slowly..."

[SavageBob]

Alamy yawns. "Yeah, best to rest up. I can head back to my friend's place and meet you lot in the morning."

You make your way back to the base slowly, the evening shift has just come on duty and the officer at the front desk gives you a nasty look. "Monty, The Captain has been expecting your report. He is not happy and is waiting in his office. I suggest the rest of you head home before things get messy.

Reporting in....with a yawn....

THREE DAYS! What the hell have you been doing! the captain slams his hands on his desk as Monty walks in.

"As I recall, Sir, it's been a day, the night, and now it's morning again."

The Captains tune softens slightly as he looks at Monty realizing that his appears quite run down. "Check your chronograph, you appear to be missing nearly a full day. Have the medic check you out, then head home for rest! We will continue this in the morning!
