Friends and Nemeses

Out of the corner of her eye, Alamy happens to see something shiny on the floor by the crate. It looks like it might be a key.

Anjali is doing her best to keep calm while the others blunder about. This feeling of being restrained as her on edge. She attempts to focus her breathing and thoughts, running some of her favorite equations in her head. At least Alamy is making some progress here....

As she maintains her patience, Anjali's eyes wander to the ceiling, where she notices a blinking green light. Her eyes focus on it, and she realizes it's a security camera!

She casually averts her eyes, hoping whoever is on the other side isn't aware that she noticed it. She decides to hold onto that information for now, to see if they can use it to their advantage later. Maybe she can slice into and create a false feed to the source, but such trickery will less effective if their captors know the team is aware of the camera....

"Not so good at picking locks, eh, Alamy?" Monty will look on the ground for the key and proceed to unlock the others (if it fits).

Alamy rubs her wrists as she stands from the chair. "Nope. Locks aren't my specialty." She then remembers seeing the exit hidden behind some boxes. "We should get our stuff. I think I know the way out."

Anjali goes over to the crate to retrieve her backpack, checking to make sure everything is accounted for and there are no surprises, like tracking devices or more bombs.

While there, she beckons the rest of the group over to the crate to very softly whisper to them:

"I noticed a security camera. You guys take your time here getting your stuff. I'm going to see if I can hack into it and replace the feed with a feedback loop of us standing here conversing. That might give us element of surprise in getting out of here."

Anjai looks around. On one wall is a set of stairs that leads up to a room overlooking the warehouse floor. It is surrounded by glass windows. That must be the control room.

Hell scavenges through the box making sure all of his equipment is there. He is anxious to get out of the shoddy warehouse and check on his speeder. "Monty should I go out and check on our transportation?

"Wait here a moment, guys, until I get back," Anjali says. She takes her backpack, fusion cutter in hand, and goes up the stairs and into the control room to attempt to hack into the security system.

Anjali plugs into the console in the control room and starts plying her craft. Alright, girl, talk to me....

Anjali successfully takes full control of the computer system. During the slice she accidently left behind traces of the hack. So if someone checks the system, they may find that she was there.

Alamy reclaims her belongings and scans the room. "I'm with the Boss. We came here for a reason: To find out what this Sixxkiller is up to. We can't leave without at least finding some clue about where he's holed up."

As Anjali works, she traces the camera feed. It is broadcasting back to a building in sector 943.

Anjali creates a loop-back video feed of the past several minutes. Anyone not paying very close attention will hopefully think the group is milling about, still discussing what steps to take next. She cuts any audio feed she can find it.

Meanwhile, in another part of Coruscant, in a foreman's office in an abandoned factory, a green Nikto sits back in his chair feeling good about his accomplishments. He watches the view screen and thinks to himself, They don't even know what's coming. Suddenly he sees a blip on the camera.
He accesses the logs and sees that one of his prisoners must be mucking about in the system. But what he didn’t know was they looped the feed. He watched the view screen of his catch just standing in front of the crate.

Once they get the nod that the security system has been "fixed" Hell heads for the main entrance hoping to check on the speeder only to find it barricaded "The main entrance is barricaded. Should I get her revved up or did you want to check out that back door?"

A metallic footstep patter sounds as Anjali comes back down the stairs to the floor, her equipment back in her backpack.

"It's done. Time to go."

"If we're going to make ourselves scarce, might be better to slip out through the hole I saw behind those load lifters. Did you find out where this sleemo is from the computer, Anjali?"

"Yeah, we know where this bastard is. I bought us some time to get to him," Anjali replies, a satisfied smirk on her face.

Alamy heads to the load lifter and looks at the space behind it. "Well, we could try to squeeze past it. But it might be easier to just hotwire this thing. Who's good with machines?"
