Cortosis Staves and Morgukai History.
During the Cold War era, the Sith Empire were known to have frequently courted the Morgukai cult, but were unsuccessful on each occasion. This was because the cult held a strong sense of honor and were aware of the fact that the Empire considered the Nikto to be a lesser species. What's more, many Morgukai viewed the Sith just as unfavorably as they viewed Jedi.[2]
In this era, Cathar settlers on Taris were known to have traded land and wealth to the Morgukai for their aid against the Sith Empire's presence on the planet. Their feared reputation and skills led them to bring about devastating casualties amongst the Imperial Military, which forced the Empire to bring in the aid of Mandalorian mercenaries to combat the threat. One of these Mandalorians tasked a Sith official with eliminating the Morgukai and claiming their cortosis staffs as trophies.
Tythan Phomm discovered that the cult had also taken root on Nar Shaddaa, where they were recruiting Nikto to train for attacks on Republic targets. A Republic official was tasked with traveling to the Morgukai temple and confronting the cult and its chieftain.[4]
The Cold War was an intense, eleven-year standoff between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic after 3653 BBY. The Treaty of Coruscant ended the Great Galactic War, sealing the Sith Empire's partial victory and its annexation of almost two thirds of the known Galaxy.
The Kintan Kingdom was the name given to a region of the Nikto Sector of the moon Nar Shaddaa during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The area was named for the Kintan Kings, a criminal gang that controlled the Nikto Sector.
During the time of the Cold War, a proxy conflict between the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic, miners on the world had discovered cave paintings, presumably made by pre-civilized Nikto. Eventually, someone was sent to discover the history behind the paintings. Findings revealed that the paintings depicted four terrible wars in Kintan's ancient past and honored a warlord named Da-Shek Yalaa.[3]
The Morgukai warrior tradition arose on the planet, elite and isolated from other Nikto.

Dxun
VibraTech Enterprises Building, a galactic corporation building. [/quote](2 Succ, 1 Threat). An intergalactic technology corporation dealing with small items, appliances, and communication. Established nearly 5 years ago. CEO Firn Tansmand, human male in his 50's. ( 1 Threat, omit (possibly) vital detail)
Outer Rim: (2 Succ, 3 Adv) Dxun is the largest of four moons in orbit around Onderon. Both the planet and the moon are covered in thick, aggressive plant life containing some of the galaxy's most dangerous predatory animals. Dxun is relatively uninhabited while Onderon has a mostly-human (90%+) tribal population for 4 million. Over 300 years ago both the Sith and Mandalorians fought wars using Dxun as a base. The Great Sith War and The Mandalorian Wars occurred around there, which was followed by an Onderon Civil War. The system is very close to the border between the Republic and the Sith Empire, though, technically still in the Republic. For the last 300+ years, there has been little significant activity there. It is near Kashyyyk and Trandosha.
LORE: (2 Succ, 0 Adv) Dxun has played a significant role in galactic lore when it comes to war and The Dark Side of The Force. It is a known pilgrimage site for Dark Side force-users because the moon is said to have strong Dark Side connections. Everything is wild and dangerous there, challenging to even the most powerful of force-users. It is rumored that a powerful Sith Lord's tomb is somewhere on the moon of Dxun.

The Sorian Crystal
================
A clear crystal that seems to reflect and refract light in intricate patterns. .
It fades in colors from one tip to the other, starting with white at one end, turning to green-blue, and then darkening to violet.
When used in a lightsaber, impacts with the blade cause a slight jolt (flash) to the attacker (granting a boost die).
6 Damage, 3 critical, R9, 16k, 4 hard points required,
Breach 1, Sunder 1,
If one uses Parry, then grant a boost die on their next attack versus that opponent
OPTIONS: 3 Damage +1 mods, 1 Innate Talent Parry mod, 1 Quality Disorient mod,
Attuned: +1 Concussive Quality, adds a white pip and removes black pip to any Force checks made by the user.
INITIAL LORE CHECK....
Anjali; Alpha Squad; Lore check on crystal:
1 Success, 0 Advantage, 2 Light Side , 1 Dark Side

Re: Temporary GM Notes
Ok, so for lightsaber crafting, below is what Anjali is looking at. Question is can I apply Master Artisan to each of these rolls, to reduce diff by 1 (minimum of Easy), at cost of 2 strain? The talent is once per round, which says to me it can be used repetitively round after round. Have Mental Tools, Inventor, and Force Manipulate (Mechanics) for additional assistance.
Purchase Weapon Maintenance Kit (Lightsaber): 450cr - rarity 3 (not restricted). Adds when repair, maintain, or modify lightsaber.
Lightsaber hilt material: 300cr
Average Mechanics to craft hilt.
Will then attach the Sorian crystal and mod it with Mechanics checks. Will add additional boosts/setbacks depending on / results. Might flip DP as it gets more difficult.
1. Innate Talent (Parry): free
2. Disorient 1: 100cr and
3. Damage 1 100cr and
4. Damage 1 100cr and
5. Damage 1 100cr and
Will then add additional attachments as hardpoints allow. Sorian takes 3 of the 4 on basic hilt, but if I generate 3 or more on the hilt crafting, can add additional hardpoint.
Additional Purchase:
BPEA-1A CASCADER: 1,800cr, rarity 8 (not restricted). Upgrades Charm, Leadership, and Deception checks. That would be a Daunting Negotiation check to locate, though if we're swinging by Coruscant, that diff is reduced by 2.
