Operation Medusa Infiltration Gavin Addair (Shado)

The expansive cathedral opens before Gavin as he enters. the main doors lead into an area full of pews with an isle leading to a central alter. The father disappears through an entrance on the side heading up some stairs.

Gavin goes to the holy water font and applies the blessing. He then goes to the end of the nave, kneels before the altar, and says a short prayer. Finally, he stands and takes a seat next to the nave in the second row of pews, setting his backpack and rug-wrapped rifle next to him on the bench.

After several minutes an older priest sits down next to Gavin. he recognizes the priestly garments and speaks up. I've not seen you here before father, welcome.

"Merci. Are you Father Smith?" Gavin inquires.

no. You should speak with Cardinal Rupert. He is in the back in the priests Chambers.

[ShadoWarrior]

Gavin MacDonnell

"Merci." Gavin gets up and heads off in search of Cardinal Rupert.

Gavin makes his way through to the back areas finding an office labeled with the name of Cardinal Rupert. Knocking on the door he is instructed to answer. Behind the desk sits an elderly man in priestly robes which matches the description of Father Smith.

"Should I address your Eminence as Cardinal Rupert? Or as 'Father Smith'?"

The cardinal perks up. He begins speaking offering the appropriate passphrase and waiting to hear the response.

Gavin provides the expected countersign, then introduces himself, "I am 'Father MacDonnell', your Eminence."

Yes. I helped sponcer you through seminary if you recall. You have been assigned a few minor duties on the grounds. That should leave you free to acquaint yourself with the city.

"That is most generous your Eminence. Thank you. Paris is a most beautiful city and I have much to explore and to learn about it and its residents ... both old and new."
