I was on fantasy flights board on a late and saw that he had been in today. Hopefully that means he is well. It forum had been near dead for almost a year. I hope we didn't lots him but it is a possibility. I'm hoping this new year isn't as rough on everyone.

It is a rursl road but we'll maintained. The guard shack had a chair, the other guard is a walking post.

Ok, I'm in need of suggestions from others here.
I'm thinking place one guard in the chair just outside the guard shack, making it look normal driving up. I believe @Swrider that I have 3 sticks of dynamite available for use. I'd like to maybe bury 2 of them under where the truck would stop and blow it that way and use the other to turn the shack into shrapnel hopefully killing any that might escape the truck.
Suggestions/Comments?

That sounds correct. Typically, the guards would be signaling to the trucks for them to stop, but since their is a single bar gate your idea is valid.

2 sticks of dynamite will probably disable the truck, but I don't think they would destroy it. The shrapnel idea would be a decent backup.

It will take to checks to set up the traps.

Explosive handling seems like the best skill fit.

Remember you can have people assist you. The first person assisting adds their conditional skill dice - 1 die to the check a second does the same -2 dice. The number if people who can help is limited by how well trained they are.

Is that minus 1 or 2 dice or was the hyphen being used as a separation device?
@ShadoWarrior how does your guy look on explosives? Benito is 4d10+40 for Handle Explosives.
@Swrider, @SavageBob was playing our third character are you playing him as an NPC for the moment?

Minus 1 die for the first helper minus 2 on second. So if they have 4d10 they could be as far down as the 4th helper and still provide a boost. Most people will have at least a 2d10 iirc.

Blaise has a 1d10 in explosives so he won't be helping. I think I'll have him search the shack and guards while you guys handle the explosives, unless Shado wants to do the searching.

Gavin is 1d10 +10 on anything to do with explosives. He does have 4d10 +40 with grenades, but that's not what you need.

So both Gavin and Blaise are 1d10+10 for Explosives. I'm guessing they'd be better searching that anything else, seem correct to you?

Lol. Ok other ideas? Also skills get better when you use them so there is no harm trying. In fact it could be very beneficial to try.

Correct. You find two potato Maher grenades a pistol and two extra magazines on the guard in the shack. Your search person so increases by +4.
Please roll over more time either search person for the other body or search place for the guard shack. I'll roll the other for our temporary NPC.

(those things were pretty much obvious which is why you found them) a higher roll night have find something better hidden.

Makes most sense for the "NPC" to search the other corpse while I was searching the one I did, so I'll check the shack.
