If the 51 was good enough then all the '1' means is that you had a ... complication. Good luck with that.

Sorry guys, keeping up with this game during the week is definitely more difficult than others. But I'll try to continue to keep up in general.

I was actually planning to have Blaise hitchhike into the city rather than go on foot. The idea was to walk into town as you've assumed, Rider, but to wait for a passing motorist who didn't look military in any way. But if you want to just assume he walks the whole way, that works, too.

Nah go ahead. I'll edit my post after you make yours make a roll out to using skills that sound appropriate to you.

Cool; take a look. I assumed Observation to identify passing motorists as potentially friendlies (or neutrals) versus Germans. Then I assumed Lie to look nonchalant and avoid being noticed as a black man for the questionable ones, and Charm to convince a motorist to stop and pick him up. Let me know if any of that seems wrong.

I am fine with those selections. They make sense. Though Urban Stealth Movement is used for how you describe lie. It allows you to blend in and look natural as a means of being stealthly. I just assumed you rolled lie since you had to come up with a false story on why you needed a ride. I didn't bother making opposed rolls since yours were high enough a common person would not have been able to beat them.

OK, more on the above: Beginning in the late 1920s, the Croix de Feu/Parti Social Français (CF/PSF) gained lots of political support for both being a Catholic organization and for running health clinics throughout France. The clinics were borderline fascist, and thus a preferred healthcare provider under the Vichy regime. However, unlike Naziism, the CF/PSF clinics ran under a system of "positive eugenics." The idea wasn't to keep inferior races or classes from procreating, but rather to help elevate the physical and mental state of people from these "lesser" races and classes so that when they did have children, they would be healthier and thereby elevate their group toward perfection.

My thinking is that someone like Blaise, training to be a nurse and then to return to Africa, would be very much the kind of person they'd welcome. He's "bettering" his entire race by being there. It means he'll have to tolerate a lot of fascist rhetoric from them, but they aren't actively trying to kill him, and actually see him as part of their raison d'être.

Let's say his contact is a doctor or nurse in this clinic, one who doesn't agree with the "positive eugenics" part of the mission but who realized it'd be great cover for an African operative.

Done. CF/PSF has clinics across France, so it's a good cover for him, as his Resistance-supporting superior can always have him reassigned to another clinic or send him off on short residencies at other clinics.

Ok guys in going to start up the group thread for the first point of the joint mission. I am assuming @kanila is out per his post on the cantina forum. Several days pass ( three) before you recieve the letter followed by the second correspondence. Your meet up occurs a well after arriving in Paris. Shado you heal 1d10 a day... That should be long enough to recover from the gunshot wound completely. Luckily he just grazzed you.

The meeting will be clandestine. Probably at a remote church site since many of you have covers realated to the Catholic Church. I'm open on suggestions for an appropriate site.

New joint thread is up. Sorry for the delay.

To speed things along you will see a female there who will instruct you to meet inside a remote Tomb which is normaly locked. In the rear of the cemetery but not far from where you meet her. She is the lookout.

Your choice. I am fine either way and hadn't thought of that. It would be funny though.

Ok next question. What does this check point look like? Small guard hut with a lift bar? Or something else?
