Going without rest

Outside of an initial first aid check, healing only really occurs through rest. Failing to rest can prevent a character from healing their wounds.

Military operatives routinely go without sleep, however, going multiple days results in an increase to all skill check difficulties. With the penalty getting larger the longer you go without rest, as follows.
  • 0- 48 hours no penalty.
  • 48-72 +10 difficulty.
  • 72-84 +20 difficulty.
  • 84-90 +30 difficulty.
  • 90-93 +40 difficulty,
  • 93-95 +50 difficulty,
  • Each hour after 95 adds another +10 difficulty.
