@kanila -- Go ahead and have Ryg'gos introduce himself. You're on the dance floor with Flash and Ellimelli. You were brought to the site by Kri. No need to be as elaborate as Ellimelli was, but go ahead and roll Charm against Flash as part of your introduction of the band ( thanks to a rank of Nobody's Fool). You get because Ellimelli botched her roll so bad.

lol, ok I know that it was a mistake but it would be funny if the despair meant that people heard Ryg'gos call us the hyperlight echoes, even as a mistake, and it got back to Zan's new agents and they used it as an admission of forfeiture of the title blueshift echos in their legal fight against us.

Well Ryg’gos technically doesn’t know Zan isn’t with the group anymore haha.

Dancing on the dance floor? Maybe he 'breaks a leg'? Or, someone else's leg? Dances into some equipment and wrecks it?

I like the name mixup suggestion. It may just mean that Flash assumes your band name is "Hyperlight Echoes," so you'll have to work to correct the misperception if you want to capitalize on your former band's name: Zannel Redbeam and the Blueshift Echoes.

Oh, wait; that's too perfect. "The Price of a Name," and now the name's been botched. Maybe have Meshel correct the error IC, and that will justify the earlier roll kanila made? Like seeing him out of jail gives Meshel the courage to correct the mistake?

That actually makes a lot of sense. I can work with that. Let me redo the post.

So, someone may want to try a Deception check to argue that Ryg'gos doesn't actually have the droid on him. Doesn't have to be Ryg'gos himself. Up to two folks can assist for Again, .

As for using the droid, I'm afraid it's going to be nearly impossible at this point. I've been putting a lot of emphasis on the fact that Gozer hates droids, so using one quite out in the open during the highlight of the evening is going to be a very tough sell. You'll need Gozer's permission, and getting that will require getting an audience with Gozer before the performance. Not impossible, but definitely something that you'll have to work toward.

Jessa has that thing she stole, the disruptor that messes up droids. (And she has a temper, too.) What does she have to roll to zap that droid on Ryg's person by touching this tool to it? Or, this tool gives a boost on computers checks? If so, she would like to jump in and KO the mini droid to save the day for the Echoes. So, jump in and 'hit the off switch" or short-circuit it, so to speak.

Well the droid is in a pouch (if it’s agreed that it would fit), so it’s not currently out.

Jessa's EMP disruptor only works at engaged range, so she'd have to climb down from the stage and get over to the bag to disrupt the camdroid.

As of right now, Flash is suspicious, but also eager to get rolling. So @kanila, you can opt to try Deception on him to lie that there's no camdroid, or we could call it Stealth to avoid him detecting the thing in the bag. Either roll will get out of the gate, as Flash is distracted. Stealth has a slightly easier difficulty, , since Nobody's Fool doesn't apply. One other possibility is that Kri is still likely around. She can go for a Stealth check to smuggle the bag off the dance floor and away from Flash's prying eyes. Someone just needs to indicate IC that they're giving her some signal to do so.

What if Meshel was to call for them to get rolling himself? Would that distract Flash more from Ryg’gos?

That or a boost to grabbing his attention if Meshel just starts playing.

But if you start playing now that means we are allowing the other band to be the headliner.
