Hello!
Hello!
Hello everyone! I am a coworker of swrider and he introduced me to this board. I broke into pen and paper RPGs with D&D 5e last year and I have been playing sporadically in a few different campaigns ever since. I also have a little experience with Shadowrun lore and mechanics, having played the Shadowrun PC games. I am not the most well acquainted with Star Wars RPGs and lore, but I was told many people here are experienced players/GMs and, as an aspiring novice GM, I may pop into the Cantina for advice from time to time.
Re: Hello!
Welcome, awarren! Cool to hear you were recruited here through real-world connections rather than virtual-world ones! Are you looking to join a game?
Characters: Alamy Alephine A'Culea ("AAA") • Pierre Essomba Atangana • Dr. Vesper Reshari • Zonji Derr | Games as GM: Hyperlight Echoes
Re: Hello!
I have been teaching awarren to gm live games for a few months now. He is doing pretty well. Currently he is building a campaign and we thought it would be easier to compare notes if it was in written format.
Everyone please feel free to look around at what he puts up and make commetns or ask questions. He is looking to learn and is a verry open person.

Re: Hello!
Welcome! Play by post is a good way to get used to playing and running the game.

Welcome
Re: Hello!
Thanks for the warm welcome! At this point I am not looking to join a Star Wars play by post game, but I will definitely keep it in mind for the future.
I am creating a short D&D 5e campaign, which I may run on the forums here at some point in the future. I will provide details about the game in the development sub-forum swrider created. It's a horror themed campaign with some classic tropes but hopefully some unique flavor to it. If you are interested in potentially playing it in the future, steer clear of the development forum. If you do venture in, any opinions on my material and any suggestions that could improve a player's experience would be welcome. The forum is mostly so swrider can help me build the game, so I do not expect anyone to review my notes unless you really want to.
I will start adding material over the weekend.

Welcome to the board!
If you plan to run via PbP any game from White Wolf, consider me highly interested.

Re: Hello!
As someone who just started to play 5e I would love to see what you come up with, and what’s this about white wolf? Might we been expecting something in the range of scion, vampire, or exalted?
