Regarding your request to join my Far Orbit Project game, please read through all of that game's topics, which should answer many of your questions. If you still feel that it is a game that you wish to join, then please make a post in that game's OOC thread (not create a new topic in that forum, which is a user permission that no one should have so I have to thank you for showing me that particular hole in the permissions settings that I've now fixed).

You're welcome. The instructions for how to join a game are actually in the very first Q&A of the "Mini-FAQ" in I'm new here, what should I do? topic, which I think that you read before you posted here (or you probably wouldn't have posted here, unless your dad or brother gave you some hints but didn't give you enough hints LOL). What each GM wants/expects of new players differs, hence why the FAQ doesn't go into greater detail regarding procedures. Also, even for the same GM, each game may have different requirements/expectations. Far Orbit Project is an unusual game, so you really need to know what you're getting yourself into before you commit.

I was thinking if a new game started, that would be good for jcake. Or maybe Isk if there is still an opening. I think Far Orbit would be too hard. Even I am having trouble with that one.

yes I agree I was having a hard time following the plot. No offense to ShadoWarrior cause its a really good idea for a story.

Isk has 1 opening. I do wish people would read the Active Games list. I keep it current, not that anyone seems to care, given how often I get questions that can be answered by reading the appropriate threads.

I have been trying to warn your son away from Far Orbit as gently as I can without crushing his eagerness. I'm not one to deny someone playing who really wants to, but I just don't think he really knows what sort of game it is.

No worries. I am in full agreement that Far Orbit is not a good fit. I think he was suggesting to take over V'Jax. Unless you have other ideas.

He doesn't have to take over V'Jax unless he wants to. The group is at a Rebel base, so character swap-outs can be easily done. And that reminds me that the game has 2 openings, not just 1. There are only 4 players with their own PCs at present. DeepSpacer has been controlling V'Jax, but the character is no longer a PC.
