Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Negotiation typically involves a back and forth on price so the roll can dictate that. It may help with the read if you offer something to him, but I am not sure what we have to offer. The refugee story kind of prevents the trade for illegal goods idea.

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Well, thugs are known for exploiting desperate refugees e.g. we'll get you across the boarder but you work for us now.
Perhaps we owe a favour?
Unless of course we have means to these credits? Can Hoss wire some funds?

Well I can afford my own pass/ticket. And because of my weakness I will come across as a prick.

We should all be able to afford, it except for the stowaway, we all got paid.
We can always come back later and take him out and get our money back. Maybe that would help with the empire negotiations?

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Yeah chiibiithii has 32 credits since he didn't not get "paid" I never asked if he got anything because he doesn't really have a sense of money at least not credits as money.
So @SanguineAngel what are chiibiithii's options.

Can we try and say he is out servant/bodyguard/valet when we get there? And bluff our way in?

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
We can all chip in for him, or try to sneak him in/bluff his way aboard. Whaddaya guys say?
Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
@SanguineAngel Assuming the Force point tracker is correct at the top we have 1 FP to use. What would you say to me flipping that and having him offer Chibiithii a chance to fight one of his guys to win a ticket. I wouldn't be too far of a stretch in my mind for these guys to have some sort of fight club. It might also help the group see the value that Chibiithii brings to the group.

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Hah! I like it. If you flip the DP, he will find your little display most amusing!. He will suggest Chibiithii may earn a free pass if he is able to beat one of his best. He'll make a show of it. Loose, and you will owe him considerably more than 500 credits.
Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
DP flipped. Perhaps we should split the group so that we don't keep the others waiting while this plays out?

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
I could see it going either way, our characters would want to make sure Chibiithii gets back to Hoss, OR they might decide the little guy is on his own and tell him to catch up. Whichever way y'all want to play it is cool with me.
Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Rashk will more than likely stay and watch.

Ok I just didn't want to dominate the game.

@SanguineAngel
I know we are not moving to combat until tomorrow, but thought I would go ahead and make this roll while I had time, since I knew it was coming. I rolled cool, for initiative, because the combat is expected. If you want me to re-roll at a later time I can.
Chibiithii; Dark Academy; Cool:
0 Success, 2 Advantages

Can we get any info about this Luss person or the rules of the street fight before placing said bet?

Also, I guess my character will just look around for any signs of trouble or an ambush.
Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
@SanguineAngel Was Chibiithii's weapon returned to him? Or is this meant to be a fist fight or something else?

Re: OOC Session 04: A diplomatic solution
Hello guys, just wanted to drop a note. I have a post half written but work this week got absolutely crazy and I also broke my phone’s screen.using my wife’s but it’s a nightmare to type on. just dropped it off for repair but I haven’t disappeared. Should be able to post tomorrow once I get my phone back. Apologies for the delay.
Meanwhile, Cbm, you can ask around the crowd with an easy streetwise for info on Luss. Kanila, an avg streetwise to find the best odds being offered (somewhere around 3:1 based on results).

@SanguineAngel Something seems to be off with the counter. It says we are at -1 ls pip, by my recognizing we should be at 0. It must have registered twice when I flipped the LS pip? I can reset it but didn't want to do so without consulting you.
