OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
Re: OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
The database for your force tracker did not copy over. I recreated it and set it to one each. Sorry for the hassle but you will need to reset it to your actual force pool. Probably re-roll unless you were tracking it separately.

Ok, I edited my post to reflect your requestSanguineAngel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 3:03 pmI think this might be perfectly in line with your training but I don't wish to speak for your character, so why don't you describe for us how you master or use your fear to gain the bonus of not requiring another check this session?)

Ok, @Davakosh, @Azzranache have either of you got any thoughts on how to get across? Or mitigating the risks? Dav, you mentioned using climbing equipment? Azzranache, you seem keen on taking the longer way round down the scree slope.
Re: OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
Can I somehow use the climbing equipment to secure the brige or create another way across with the iron rings?

Re: OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
Sounds like a good idea. I reckon you could reduce the difficulty down to easy by using some climbing gear. Climbing gears has, what? Harness, ropes, pulleys, pitons, cams, carabiners and the like? I reckon the description is purposefully vague to allow some interpretation for creative use.
I guess there are a few ways you might use them to traverse the bridge. My immediate thought would be attaching a guide line to one of the suspension cables but if you can think of anything even safer then great. I suppose the only considerations are: retrieving your gear and only two of you have gear.

What kind of check is it then with the guide ropes?

So, with climbing equipment, an Easy (R) Coordination Check.
I have spent a Dark Point on this again.
Presuming that you all attempt to use the equipment, in relay fashion, this is a Group check. That means that you each roll and pass on any excess successes to the next person. (it would, therefore, be wise to roll in order of most proficient to least)

You should roll first, you all have Agility 2. but you have 1 rank in coordination.
Edit: I forgot, I will grant you all a boost for the advantage gained by crazybirdman on his roll. Narratively, this could just be being aware of those rotten boards.

Well he sure made it look easy. So I'm rolling a challenge die, and adding one setback for fear and one boost from my last check correct?

I'm going to get all the results in before we interpret I think, though you may spend advantage to grant a boost to the next person. Just mention as much in your post if you do. @crazybirdman you do indeed but you also have an additional boost, as I decided to apply that previous boost to the check as a whole - you also gain +2 success from Dav's roll.

OK, so you'd like all three of us to attempt to cross before you interpret our collective results?

Yes, I think so. As it's a group check you're all crossing together in some manner rather than one by one as it were so I think it'd make some sense to describe the crossing in a one-er

Re: OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
oof, yeah that is an unfortunate roll. But boy do I have good news for you: You get the 2 extra successes from Dav's roll, because it is a Group Check. That means you have 1 success. I presume you might also want to spend 2 adv to pass on a boost to Bardax?
I wouldn't worry about the game hating you - all fuel for the fire of rage. You will surely be the most powerful of all three in the end. I'm sure your time will come!
@Azzranache you're up next.

So it would seem
If you like, you can rest here to make a roll to recover strain. However, doing so will mean time passing an night arriving.

Re: OOC Session 01: One Last Lesson
No, no roll - They're fairly easy to spot with the remaining daylight. If you want to go ahead and post a bit of narrative about carrying on. But the weather is continuing to develop - it's wet, it's cold, the air is thin, visibility IS low but you can see the feathers because they are bright and fluttering in the wind.
Also, you've been walking for hours and you have had a bit of a knock back early - how is Raven feeling? Is he chatting or is it a quiet journey? What about Bardax?
