out of interest, why is it you're leaning more towards sense?
My idea is the character focuses on seeing into the future. Large scale, to try and see what the force wants from him, and on a small scale to better defend against or avoid attacks (or if/when he slips toward the dark side, to attack first).
I think Sense (with it's defense/attack upgrades) facilitates this better than Seek (which seems to be more about finding things that are lost/hidden).

I posted my character concept up in the appropriate place

I havent picked an obligation or done any gear yet, I also have only spent base XP on stats and a force power. I picked move because it is so iconic and seems like a fun utility skill that also has room to grow into something powerful/useful. I hope to pick up others later but there is just no room right now, reading thoughts and influence are also high up on the list and I can take them to fit better with the group if we want,

Thanks @Davakosh, as it's a Force & Destiny game, you don't need to worry about Obligation or Duty, so that's fine. Also I love the name

Gear
It's nice to see someone pick the money to start! I see you'd like to discuss what gear you should get with the rest of the party so @Azzranache, @crazybirdman and @Matt Skywalker have you guys got any thoughts on what would be useful?

You all start with the training lightsaber for free.

I noticed @Azzranache had some interesting gear. What was your thinking on those?

Morality
Look like you're open to some suggestions on a moral weaknesses. There's some really neat ones in the consular book, I feel. Personally I really like martyrdom - in which your character becomes annoyed when their hard work and sacrifice isn't appreicated. I think a player can have a lot of fun with that.

Your strengths and weaknesses are something that can add dimension to your character - personality traits you can play up on and use as inspiration if you're struggling to find your character's voice. They're also something a GM can take advantage of to engineer situations that might allow you to utilise them.

Some people like to pick diametrically opposed strengths and weaknesses - this means that they may be frequently faced with a choice between one or the other - personally I would only do this if the dichotomy felt natural (you wouldn't really have a character who was both compassionate and cruel, for example).

Others like complementary traits - like crazybirdman and his Justice and Cruelty. A pairing like this means that yor character is often likely to be in a position to use both these character traits together.

Another excellent option is to pick traits that have little to do with each other. This is my personal preference - it means that different scenarios might appeal to different aspects of your character's personality.

Hopefully that helps a little.

EDIT: I'd like to start the scenario this weeked so once Davakosh has finished his sheet, I'll get you to copy your characters over into the Dramatis Personae, grant you all the starting bonus XP and get the IC thread up.

@Matt Skywalker I've not heard from you in a little while. If you are still playing you'll also need to finish up your character.

@SanguineAngel - thinking on gear was;

Backpack - staple choice as +4 encumbrance is well needed.
Comlink - previous experience in games has shown me that this is an incredibly useful tool for when the team get split up. I highly recommend everyone buys one.
Breath Mask - again, previous experience has proven this useful for unforeseen circumstances.
Climbing Gear - a big part of my character's focus will be watching targets and gaining recon on them. I figured this will help with getting to better/hidden vantage points. Also handy for tight spots.
Binders - to bind any target my character will change into and helps reduce the risk of them interfering/ruining any ploys while their identity is "borrowed".
Electrobinoculars - a key tool to my character's surveillance.

I'm going for a typical monk look, so all the other items I want are too rare and expensive. I will add the nomad greatcoat before we get started.

I will get that Kyuzo hat one day!

Lovely, thanks @Davakosh. Looks like you've got everything you need but the sheet's still in need of some tidying up - then it can be copied over into the Dramatis Personae forum.

@crazybirdman looks like you sheet is ready to go. Please copy it over to the Dramatis Personae forum and add 65xp as Starting Bonus to reflect your training. You can now spend that on skills, talents, force powers, and additional specialisations. However, now that you are out of char gen, you can no longer purchase attributes outright. Please itemise your spend in the same way as before but under a separate heading.

Thanks!

@Davakosh Nice work, looks like a great character choice. Our team is coming together nicely. I noticed your character seems to communicate through telepathy - could save yourself some credits with the Comlink there as not sure it would be of any use.

@SanguineAngel Unless of course, you’ll allow the telepathy waves to amplify through the Comlink?

Comlink might be handy for hearing what you lot are saying! He's definitely gunna have trouble keeping in touch though. Should be an interesting element.

okay, used my bonus xp. if the GM approves it, I'll update my character with the new talents and force powers.
Was tempting to just power down the talent tree to get another force rating.

Hey crazybirdman, I have taken a look and it all looks good to me. Also like the background expansion!

@Davakosh just got your sheet to go. Once you've tidied it up and moved it over to Dramatis Personae you will also have 65xp to use. Again, for use on skills, talents, force powers, and specialisations but not to purchase attributes outright. Itemise the spend too.

Campain Premise
Graduation approaches. You have spent your lives training in this academy, some of you for as long as 15 years; the privileged wards of the Emperor himself and privy to the most intimate knowledge of his true and awesome nature. You have been prepared here for a great destiny, to be the first of the Emperor’s Hands. Soon you will take your first real steps on that grand journey.

Your primary mandate will be to seek out the hidden knowledge lost to the mists of time or hoarded by the Secretive Jedi Order. Through your service, the Emperor grants you access to great power yourselves. It is a rare opportunity.

Your training has been hard, though it has made you strong. There were more of you once, but you were weaker then. You are the elite. The very best amongst you will one day serve at the Emperor’s side.

Now, you are to embark upon your final test before you enter into service of your Emperor.

Players will take the role of newly minted Emperor's Hands - force users trained and indoctrinated in an experimental trial to serve the Emperor with the utmost loyalty in a clandestine capacity. They are special agents tasked with the acquisition of secret knowledge and granted special privilages in the field to carry out their mission. The Emperor's hands may also be called upon to use their expertise in other capacities - to lead troops or carry out sensitive covert operations, for example.

You will be the first of the Emperor's Hands to enter service - the first to survive and Graduate from Imperial Facilty 341, known to you as The Academy. We'll join your characters just as you reach the end of your training.
Looks like we are nearly there!

@crazybirdman @Davakosh As it looks like our characters have spent a long time together and we've watched our Academy be whittled down to the three of us (not sure if @Matt Skywalker is still joining us?), it's likely we would have a decent bond. Do we want to share anything specific with each before we get started to help with interactions and our history.

My character is in disguise almost all the time and no one in the Empire knows that he is an impostor other than Hoss. I feel for the sake of our missions going forward, it makes sense that you guys would know about this too as he is likely to change forms during certain times as part of the mission. Sharing this secret with Raven and Merton makes Zygo very vulnerable as it jeopardises his whole position within the Academy and gives his team mates great leverage over him.

I would say that you guys notice that my character is not necessarily a loner, but tends to keep to himself. (meditating and trying to improve the clarity of his force visions) Also that he he defends or tries to avoid attacks all together, but will attack, extremely efficiently, if/when the situation requires it.
Raven doesn't seem to be powered or driven by rage and anger like some of the other students, and often uses that against them.

Lovely! Would you say you'd be on pretty good terms?

Crazybirdman, don't forget to update your sheet by the way. Your spend looks good to me. Davakosh is hopefully going to do his 65xp tonight and then we can get started

I'm pretty lazy, so I uploaded my force and talent sheets and linked to them. Then I'll put summary on my character sheet.

And we're off! I've posted an IC and OOC thread for session 1. @Davakosh I need you to roll for destiny points in the OOC thread please.

I'll lock this thread now.
