I thought it'd be a good idea to clarify my position on replacement rolls, in the event that someone rolls the incorrect dice, so that no one is uncertain about which dice to replace.
We simply replace or remove (as required) dice from right to left. So, if you rolled 3 green instead of 2 yellow and 1 green, we roll 2 additional yellow and substitute the 3rd and 2nd green with those results.
Example
Example Missroll:
0 Success, 3 Advantages
Player: "Oh no! I rolled 3 Green but should have rolled 2 Yellow and 1 Green."
GM: "No problem, just roll the replacement dice"
Example Corrective Roll:
0 Success, 2 Advantages
Player: "Therefore my correct result is 2 Failure, 4 Advantages"

Yes, in general it is basically drop the last die in the line. I've always seen it the same way.
