If you are proficient with the herbalism kit base DC 10 if not base DC 14. You find 1gp worth of herbs at base DC and one more gp worth for every 2 points above dc. (ex for character with herbalisim: 12= 2gp 14=3gp 16= 4gp double for a nat 20).
