Seeing his companion Meddar attempt to attack the gargoyle and miss, Thew'Ruk raises an eyebrow, Meddar is no slouch, if he was unable to harm this creature it must be something else. I can't pull any punches or underestimate my foe.

Re: The Darkness
Shor-tay Seeing the attack on gage swings his mace. A second arm reaches up from the ground and catches the mace mid swing, but the force carries through ripping the arm shoulder and part of the back of the zombie out of the ground and flinging it several feet into the woods. The other arm continues to scratch at Gage.

Re: The Darkness
If it wasn't for the fact it was life or death, Oomaq could quite easily compare the current situation to watching children knocking fruit from the jungle trees back home. Pulling out another arrow from one of the quivers he let fly again.

Re: The Darkness
Small pieces of rock continue to fall from the gargoyle from the few attacks that hit.
Re: The Darkness
The gargoyle swoops down targeting Gage. It reaches out with its teeth ripping into his flesh then pushes off with his claws tearing the warlocks flesh from his body. Using the added leverage the gargoyle flies back 60 feet into the air.
Shortay Readys his mace waiting for the gargoyle to move into range so he could attack.

Re: The Darkness
Instead of throwing anymore darts at the gargoyle Meddaar just waited for the beast to attack. Once the vile thing swoops down again he will strike.

Re: The Darkness
Meddaar swung at the gargoyle as it descended to strike at the group once more. The swing went wide as the creature made it's attack. The opportunity for the attack being wasted by his sluggish reaction. That failed attempt though did not deter him from striking again. This attempt actually connecting with the illusive beast. He immediately followed up with a strike from his fist. His fist connected solidly with the already wounded gargoyle.
