I know you can't really answer this question completely, but would it be wise to save up to purchase property? Kinda like a base of operations for us?

Would the characters know the distance and time it would take for the trip? Depending on the one way distance will effect what supplies we will need to stock up on.

That's funny! Either way we should have enough supplies now. Already have enough feed for the animals for 9 days.

I'm wondering if it would be wise to get another donkey to double our carrying capacity. Plus another chest with a lock to carry the payment to the capital.

And it seems to be one of those days in general, my GF forgot to call me this evening as well.

Yeah minor fender bender, and I was a passenger. I also contacted a professor to ask why a two week old assignment hasn't been graded... Apparently I never submitted it.... Woops.

As for the route to take, I'm fine either way and I well post opposing views from Meddaar and Rurik.

There is also a third option, take both paths. One on the way there and the opposite on the way back. Round trip of 5 days that way.

As I've been awaiting the groups decision, I am having visions of Shor-tay dancing in my head. In a thick Irish accent he is singing. You take the high road and I'll take the low road and well meet together at the end.... Over and over and over. Slightly more drunk with each verse.

I realized there was something I forgot. Does Oomaq need to get a component pouch for his spells, or can he use an Arcane Focus? Also does he require a Spell Book for his few spells? It's not mentioned in the Arcane Trickster description.

If materials are required a component pouch would be needed. If it's just the other two you should be fine.

What he said. Special note though, if a spell material component lists a price the component is consumed and you must purchase a new one.

So they are non-cost mentioned components, I should be able to use an Arcane Focus then. What about one of the Sardonyx crystals? In the items section of Beyond D&D there is a crystal listed as an Arcane Focus?

I'm fine with that. Same restriction though on marketable with a listed cost.

Understandable, I'm not sure I will ever end up with those spells anyway.

Soooo what are we going with? We have two donkeys so the mountain pass shouldn't be an issue for the wagon. Unless of course is incredibly narrow and unstable.
