Klaverjassen OOC
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
Dang... thanks for not outright killing Meddaar. I will heal you asap @kanila. The rule you are referring to is if you suffer damage that is equal to or greater than your current HP + maximum HP you would die instantly, correct? Thanks for overriding that one this time.
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
Yes that is the rule.
@kanila i think meddaar should be afraif of lightning after this. How would you feel about that?

Re: Klaverjassen OOC
Pretty sure I missed that attack anyway. But did I post that correctly for the pulling of the rapier and if I hit, the sneak attack?
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
You did miss. But everything you wrote is correct.

Re: Klaverjassen OOC
@awarren Have I mentioned that I miss critical fails?
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
Yea a healthy fear of lightning sounds fair. No hard feelings brother.

Re: Klaverjassen OOC
What are the wolves location in relation to us? Do I need to move to get to them, are we engaged with the wisp, and will it cause me to be subject to an attack of opportunity if I need to move?
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
The will o wisp is close enough for me to hit it right? I have some revenge I need to unleash!

Use the broccoli, beans and cabbage attack the poison gas rises
Re: Klaverjassen OOC
I've only got a single spell slot left, i'll reserve it for healing. It a shame my rolls were so low on Guiding Bolt, we really could have used advantage - the armor class of a typical will-o-wisp is pretty high. @swrider even though critical misses are no longer part of the rules, I think they definitely make combat more interesting - I wouldn't mind some homebrew negative effects on rolling a 1, with the exception of friendly fire. I would feel terrible. Also, If we can can critical miss, so can the enemies.

Re: Klaverjassen OOC
@DeepSpacer A character only has one reaction a round. Yours was used by performing your readied action. Therefore you are unable to cast that spell. Reactions are new to 5th edition. If you hadn't used your readied action you could have cast the spell.

Re: Klaverjassen OOC
Recklase attack is a second level ability. You don't have it yet. Since the roller always places the higher die first I can't just take that one. Please re-roll
