HEre is the new thread.

If I missed anything in wrap up, let me. Yeah, some stuff happened, but that was set up for future interaction, so you can react to it in the next IC thread.

But first, time to roll for whose issues will be most prominent. Has everyone updated their morality scores?

Please roll for Destiny Points, I'll use them more this time :P

Also, @Jesster, the floor is yours to introduce yourself.

Also, since it's bound to come up, the Sith genocide is not strictly canon to this game. I'm not a fan of it as a concept (wiping them all out, why?), but ethnic cleansing by seeking to remove them to other worlds or remove their culture is something I could see reeling and panicking republic doing. Still a bad act, but more logical given the multi-species make-up of the Republic.

@kanila , just add the number you rolled minus conflict to your current morality, that's all. You didn't accrue conflict, so just add it and you're good.

At a certain point, which I need to look up, having a high enough or low enough morality gives you bonuses, like what KotOR did in the game.

Lower than 30, higher than 70.

Spoiler:
Here's my destiny roll. Is there anything I should know about where and why I'm arriving before I introduce myself? Also, am I still starting with 105 earned xp?

You can get the extra XP the other PCs have gotten, keep the field a bit more level.

You're here because your Master was called away to the Hapes Cluster. Increased raids from pirate groups is taxing the Republic's ability to respond, so Jedi are getting called in to help deal with it, and you (like the other Padawans) are slated for your trials soon. So, to aid in observation of your non-combat skills in a less hectic environment, you're getting sent to Curvian for observation (like the others).

I'm not sure that last bit counts as a less hectic environment.
As for the Morality, I rolled an 8 so that means I should add 8 to my existing 50?

Still waiting on @DeepSpacer for the Destiny roll.

Also, confirming everyone has updated their morality scores, so I can roll morality?

All of Them; TotOR; Morality Roll:
Numeric Roll: 1D100+0=96

I believe this means Varc is triggered. So, with the upcoming chapter (up to a point, depending on how long it runs, Varc's trigger will phase out and I'll roll someone else).

As such, PM if you want the chance to do something really good (or really bad) relating to your strength (and weakness) on your OOC terms, or let me figure out how to work it in spontaneously so you won't know precisely what the choice will be. I'd prefer a little guidance from you, just to make sure I fit it in with your character, even if you choose the second option.

Side note: Umbrella Academy was fun, and has my (current) favorite live action fight scene.

Don't forget, Shado, the Jedi trials weren't codified into a permanent set until the Ruusan reformation. Trials were often ad hoc and administered without the High Council necessarily overseeing them.

So by this I take it, then, that we're in a time period prior to the reformation? Not that it matters all that much because the rules of the Jedi Order are whatever you, as GM, want them to be. ;)

The time frame was given in the opening text crawl:
It is a period of peace.
It has been nearly 1.5 centuries
since the Jedi Freedan Nadd
vanished after slaying his master
and renouncing the Jedi Order.
:P

I'm just surprised no one's caught what event this is clearly set around yet, or at least haven't mentioned it.

I must apologize for my lack of Old Republic knowledge, it's just something I've never caught up on. Now it looks like I might have to.
