Arca is the party's designated cleanup guy. Someone else needs to make the mess.

In all seriousness, Trixie's weakness is "fear to confront evil", even if her "Compassion" for others sometimes gives her the strength to fight.

Re: Arc II - OOC
Please roll me initiative, using Cool.
Lyriss and Jarkyc will be operating on the same initiative slot, so that one won't be available to PCs, but Zyla's still will.
Zyla has 7 successes:
Lyriss and Jarkyc are at 3 successes (and ST-3R with them)
(I'll get enemy rolls up here later)

Re: Arc II - OOC
So with that, we can decide who goes first.
oh, and rules for Force duels:
When you make a Force based attack on another PC or an NPC, the PC or GM (in the case of NPCs) can say they want to defend against the Force power.
The defender chooses to use the same power, or a power that is thematically opposed to the attacking power (like, Move vs Move, or Protect vs Harm).
Then both users make a skill check against an average difficulty (plus or minus any modifiers, like adversary and stuff). The skill is determined based on the Force Power used and what they're trying to do with the Force power, at the GM's discretion. It is a combined roll, so you add your Force dice to it and count light side pips as successes. No Force affect occurs as long as both users get at least one success.
All successes are dealt to the enemy as strain.
While engaged in a Force duel, both the attacker and defender act in the lowest initiative step, at the same time.
If you want to switch Force powers (and thus skill used), you add a setback to the check for yourself that round.
At any point you can take an open initiative slot, and thus end the duel. However, the other person can continue to use the Force on you.
If your strain hits 0, the Force Power of the opponent affects you. (I'll allow some strain to be regained after a duel, if it reaches 0, since the iconic duels in Star Wars don't have people fall unconscious afterward, usually).
This rule is only supposed to apply to climactic or important battles (or between PCs that are fighting), i.e. if a Nemesis is involved. The flavor of this is like Yoda absorbing Dooku's lightning, or blocking Palpatine's lightning. Or, Obi Wan and Anakin Force pushing each other on Mustafar. It could also involve things like Move vs Move, where one person throws stuff and the other catches those things.

Another example of a Force Duel would be the way Malgus slices through all the debris thrown at him during the Jedi Temple assault TOR cinematic. He'd be using Enhance to make athletic checks to power through the move attacks from the Jedi Master he was fighting.

Who is wanting to take the first slot? (If you all vote Zyla that's fine, I just want y'all to control who goes where in PC slots, not me).

I think so, yes. Great detail on the Whose Turn is it, BTW. Two maneuvers to engaged, eh? Thanks for the details up front!Doctor Who wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 5:53 pmWho is wanting to take the first slot? Re: Arc II - OOC
@Doctor Who BTW, Trixie has a second Control Power on Suppress.
(Control) Spend a DP to use Suppress as an out-of-turn Incidental once. Once per session.
She will use it if we are targeted by the bad guy going ahead of us. Targeted by something of a Force Power that she can determine. With a successful roll, I can affect all allies within short range.

Re: Arc II - OOC
It’s incredibly reckless, but if the force is on my side I could reach engaged with my force jump. Just need two Light side pips and I would still have my action to use. But that would make me the main target potentially.

Re: Arc II - OOC
You would get two extra force dice. as you are using the Force to interact physically in a non-violent way.

Re: Arc II - OOC
If preferred I can take a later slot and jump into the fray. That way if any shooting is going to happen I won’t add to the difficulty for those rolls.

Re: Arc II - OOC
Shooting at a target that’s engaged with an ally adds 1 setback right?
