Hope all brightens up with the job search. :D Thanks for sticking with us.

Wasn't Trixie's first idea to coerce the guy. She didn't figure he'd cooperate, anyways. But it's always good to keep him in-place.

The Despair? He deceives us? Speaks a lie? Points the finger in the wrong direction? Reaches for a saber and fights on? Hits a arning/rescue signal? Maybe he tells us something true and something false at the same time?

IIRC Arca is capable of ascertaining truth via the Force (Sense Thoughts).

The despair was used for something that you all don't know about yet.

As an addendum, he will keep talking when you push him for more, you did succeed on the coercion role, but he isn't going to spill everything all at once.

I don't know. Waz'aru is just trying to look intimidating with two lightsabers.

I don't recall (or misread) seeing a response from the holocron to Arca's last IC post. I specifically asked "How?" can the holocron help and did not get a useful reply. At best I got a lecture. Arca is waiting for a specific response from it as to what it can do to help Zyla, not what it fears may happen if we fail to help her. It said it can help. It's not offering anything constructive. IOW, something that Arca can act upon.

AH, ok, thanks Shado, I'll add a little more (I was trying to make a bit a bit conversational, but I'll roll with Arca's lack of a response :P )

No less than FOUR quotes on murder and revenge that I poached off the net and wove into her dialogue. Trixie's motivation is compassion and help the helpless. I doubt it persuades the man (although, I COULD make a Charm check.) but it is her character to plead for the innocent. I am not sure a Charm check on the heels of a Coercion check I just made would fly.

Can I have an average + 1 boost medicine check from Arca for withdrawing the antibodies from Lyriss, and then a hard check with 1 setbacks for producing a finalized product.

The first check is basically just for speed (advantages)/how much you can successfully get out (successes). EDIT: you can't actually fail this check, failures would just be it going slower. You aren't being rushed, and you don't have to quit if you mess up.

The second if you can and how fast you can produce a usable item (successes) and how many extra doses you can set about producing with what you have on hand (advantages, minimum 1 dose if you get a success). Same with this one. You can't fail, because you have a machine that can tell you if it worked, it'll just take longer with failures.

Alright, it's going to take Arca about 3 minutes to get what he needs from Lyriss, and he's able to get about 5 times as much as he hoped, her body seems to practically be an incubator for both the sleeping contagion and something that is killing the sleeping contagion.

Thanks to that, as Arca goes to make some antidotes, and will finish in about 15 minutes, and he'll be able to create 10 doses (thanks to the Triump from the previous one).

So this is wrapping up this Arc of the story, so everyone have 20XP. We're not quite done yet, but I'll let you all have some time to play around with the new XP you get.

If you wish, you can roll a Discipline check against what the Holocron says, difficult of hard.
Arca Gavalun; Tales of the Old Republic; Discipline check:
1 Success, 3 Threats

The holocron appears to be telling the truth (success), and he can't detect any kind of ulterior motive (threat) in how the gatekeeper is behaving.

So Waz is holding (and using) the Devorian's lightsaber, because Varc has his original from when his broke. He picked up the saber the Strange Jedi dropped when he surrendered. If there is a 3rd saber I have obviously forgotten it, where is it at? And which one is Waz holding?

Gotcha. So then I guess Waz'aru is holding onto 3 at the moment. He will have no problem trading back his with Varc @kanila, he'd just hand the 2 from the Strange Jedi off. When it comes time in game play of course.

Do the three people interrogating the strange Jedi wanna do anything else in the hangar, look inside the shuttle, look at the giant orb ship, etc., before I wrap up with Carran and the Holocron?

You will have a chance to in the next Arc, but you won't necessarily be able to ensure privacy from Republic soldiers also going through it
