Re: Arc V - OOC
I'm dealing with stuff today and tomorrow, but I'll get everything moving again on wednesday.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Thanks for the heads-up. We understand that Real Life should always be the priority.

Re: Arc V - OOC
SHAZAM!!!! That's 7 damage on one swing and then the 2nd free attack from the 77% critical does an additional 9 damage. Does that take out the Trandoshan?
I have 3 Advs from the first swing to spend and 2 Advs and a Triumph to spend on the 2nd attack.
What I MIGHT like to do is have the Triumph be that the disarmed Trandoshan either falls back over a crosswalk (taking him out of the fight) or runs from the fight. Or, at least make a Fear check.

I would like to have the unarmed Trandoshan out of the picture.Doctor Who wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:36 pmEven with their strange resistance to damage, the Trandoshan drops to the ground. Trixie cannot tell if he's still breathing.
you have a triumph and five advantages waiting to be spent[/spoiler]

Since this is a rival, but you also have so many advantages, i'll allow you to basically spend the advantages + the triumph to do a better version of "do something vital." The bad guy will back away and take off toward the elevator, getting out of there.

As a player whose PC is not built for combat I really appreciate Zyla (who seems quite capable of defending herself) stepping in to save me from getting sliced up. Thank you. And of course a big thanks to Trixie for removing the danger of the other foe.

Well, I also like that Trixie could resolve defeating an opponent without the typical hack-n-slash, battle-to-the-last-hit-point combat that can happen all too easily. She's more of a clever force of will rather than a war of attrition character.

How far from Arca is the Sullustan that is engaged with Zyla?

Short range, sorry, didn't have that noted.

So we still have the trandoshan, and a shuttle about to leave? Did I miss/forget anything?

the Trandoshan ran away, but you could give chase. the only real combatant left is in the shuttle. It's top of the round now.

ok, can Zyla get on the shuttle? If not, she'll try to shut the doors, or use the mechanical arms to block/grab it, whichever controls are closer.

I think I updated the ranges in the turn post.
The controls are about the same distance from Zyla and the shuttle.

what's the check to close the doors? unless they aren't open yet, then I'll just slash at them with my lightsaber, because that's how you lock doors in true Star Wars fashion

Re: Arc V - OOC
there's a lock button, it's a general control panel, doesn't require any additional accesses.
