Turn is up, I'm setting the scene.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Well we CAN.....

Trixie feels (like the last group) that they were, at best, duped into this work. Destroying the work is the important thing, she thinks. She may just persuade them to leave. I think that may be the 'good' thing to do.

@Doctor Who Can a roll a Charm check then to give them an opportunity to leave? If so, what's the difficulty? Maybe use some of those 6 Advantages from the failed Coercion check as a boost or upgrade? Maybe they don't feel threatened by me (a skinny Twi'lek 'girl'), so maybe a more pleasant offering is the right course?

I'd leveraged those advantages to allow you the later chances, and not give them an immediate chance to respond before initiative.

At this point charming them without the Force will not work. You've tried to scare them out, and Zyla tried to physically grab stuff from them. They don't appear willing to just leave.

Arca could, at best, "charm" a single target. Unfortunately, we're faced with several. So we need a different plan.

What does this mean? 'Latter chances' 'Later changes' :?

What is a course of action to take, or will we just follow through with initiative?

Are they armed?

They both have side arms.

After the Coercion check failed, I let Zyla have a chance to talk to try to stop them. She failed. But, thanks to how many advantages you had, I'm not going to let them respond until it's their slot in initiative.

So, I can basically walk up and hold my actions (i.e. put a lightsaber to them) with a Readied Action?

Well, Trixie took her turn, and her persuasion wasn't enough. They are standoffish and not budging. As Han Solo would say, (our characters have) "No time to discuss this in committee!" IMO, it is not a group decision. Zyla needs to do what Zyla chooses to do, or since we are in structured time, the action holds and the next slot, or two, happens.

It's been a few weeks on this one thing, so maybe it's better to flip a Darkside DP and say that security comes in guns blazing? Or, maybe something else unexpected happens?

If need be, I can go for Varc. I would likely tackle the guy since talking didn't work.

Me, too! It seems intermittent, though. 5 min later, sometimes, it can post. Does it to me with phone and desktop at home.

Sorry guys. I haven't been on in a long time and just saw there private be messages. We do have several ip addresses black listed mostly with Russian ip ranges that have been used by spammers. Those were set by Shado years ago before we locked the forum way down. Effectively making it near impossible to join. I don't know if anything changed recently. @ShadoWarrior can you comment on that? I'll keep a closer eye on the forum let me know if problems continue. Also I believe most of you have my personal email address, if you don't than send me a PM and I'll provide that to you. It is an easier way to get a hold of me.

I have made no changes to the banned IP lists in months. Besides which I whitelisted crazybirdman's IP and that had zero impact on his problem. I'm pretty sure the issue is external to our board. The fact that it's intermittent is a strong clue that the problem isn't on our end. My guess is that it's with some upstream ISP, especially since it's only affecting two of our members. Well, only two that we know of.

Your check is enough to let you know that any guards that come will almost certainly come prepared for violence.
