OK, well, unless we have a more creative plan, I guess Zyla will do what she does and attack this thing.
Re: Arc IV - OOC
I’m fine with that, dice don’t appear to like me much right now so I’ll go last.

Listen, I made Zyla to be an actual warrior monk and you're pulling it off wellcrazybirdman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 9:39 pmOK, well, unless we have a more creative plan, I guess Zyla will do what she does and attack this thing.
Give me about 5 minutes after a post, I'll probably edit it a bit before it is finalized.

Was he saber (actually) fried? Did we have an extra in the group? Or, does it merely need a new power cell?Doctor Who wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:49 amTrixie's saber drops to the ground, the power cell seemingly fried.
As it bites, it attempts to clamp down on Zyla's body.
Trixie will use an action to commit her for die to maintain the effect when her turn comes.

It just needs a new power cell.

It's Varc's turn. Arca will go last.
I don't think that anyone's injured (yet), right?

Re: Arc IV - OOC
That is correct. I would have to look back and find the corresponding post for it.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
Is that the one the party recently killed? I don't recall whether it was already injured when we engaged it. I suppose that I could go back through the IC thread and check, but I'm feeling too lazy right now plus I need to go to bed."There was another creature, it was injured, but we were too busy dealing with this one and lost track of it."

I believe we killed one on our own while two others escaped to the outside. This would be one of the two who escaped to the outside.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
You just killed an extremely injured one. So yes, that's presumably the one they are talking about.
You killed one in the building.
Two escaped.
You just killed a second.
And they killed a third, all are accounted for.
Also, everyone take 10Xp for the last two combats.

spending xp on Improved Parry and 2 Foresee Magnitude Upgrades. If I understand correct, that'll give up to three of us ranged and melee defense when I add a foresee check to my initiative roll. Assuming I have enough pips and we are all engaged range.

Pretty Cool!!! +2 Melee and Ranged Defense for one round. Further down the power, we can get a free maneuver. An impressive power. But, considering what we've been facing lately, well-needed!!crazybirdman wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 12:40 amspending xp on Improved Parry and 2 Foresee Magnitude Upgrades. Selene was the lead guard, didn't make that clear, you don't need to edit your post that was on me.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
To collect info:
Officially, to the Republic, only two test subjects survived the mutation process Zyla had also experienced. (you all saw this in the unredacted report)
However, you all encountered these three, and three more in pods that you killed.
There's also potentially one more, given Lan mentioned when you met him something had broken out of the labs and was killing people in the lower city. And something had caused damage in the containment area you all visited.
As these were not mentioned in the official report, you don't know if that was omitted or if the author, Cornelius Tantemon, was in the dark about testing.

Re: Arc IV - OOC
Metagame-wise, weren't we on the way to warn the Republic/Jedi, or something like that? But stopped here to treat Zyla? Or, had we passed the warning onto something else? My memory is a little fuzzy on it. Just thinking in-character what I'd do. I think we'd be inclined to help if something weren't pressing us to go.
