So the Astrogation skill says a successful check is required to program the Navicomputer, so failure means you failed at programming the computer. There is frustratingly no example of a failed check, though.

That being said, I hope what I'm gonna do is more interesting. Failure won't put you someplace you'll die from, so that's not an issue. The advantages will give you a boost on your next astrogation check.

I would have considered a recheck if it'd failed but there was a Triumph. But without a Triumph I'd never allow a redo of an astrogation check. I might, just might, allow a recheck if an astromech had been assisting and the result was no less than zero successes and 2+ advantages. In such a case the droid stops you before you pull the lever to make the jump. But with 1+ failure you're screwed.

Feel free to post y'all. Or if no one wants to, we can calculate another jump and ST-3R will aid this time.

PP, no setbacks (you're out of the damaged region of space).

Before I make the roll, does the droid have any ranks in astrogation?

Arca assists the droid, and still fails (just not as badly)...

Arca Gavalun; Tales of the Old Republic; Astrogation check:
0 Success, 4 Advantages

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

This time we'll stop before executing the jump.

Third time's charmed (1 boost from the prior successes for having done it before)...

Arca Gavalun; Tales of the Old Republic; Astrogation check:
3 Successes, 0 Advantage

PS - the dice have been very weird for me on my last 4 rolls (starting with 3 black pips on a Force check).

Just correct me if I misstated something. I think that is the basic truth of it all.

You wanted to help fix Zyla, and it was mentioned that Nespis VII/Space City is the closest place with good medical equipment. Coruscant, Ossus, and Dantooine you think are probably locked down if the attack mentioned earlier actually did happen and wasn't just bluster.
- Something is going down at the BioCorp headquarters on Nespis VII/Space City, given that Lyriss and her Master were kidnapped from there

Are the three people left still here? If holiday stuff is taking up time, I can set a date post Christmas to make sure we all respond by, to get things moving again?

I’m here, just not sure what I want to do. So I’m just going with the flow.

My throttle is always stuck in "go with the flow" mode. ;)

Trixie can make a Charm check, if the GM needs it to be so. She is not trying to make a new friend, but rather just soften the Muun's condescension.

He's a Taung, Arca remembers hearing stories about them and humans coexisting on Coruscant back in the days before the Republic, and there was a war and they left.

Arca thinks he can fix the damage to Jarkyc's skull, which appears to be a botched repair job on a crushed skull. Arca even thinks he could improve other associated issues that would have come with such damage, depending on what symptoms Jarkyc has.

Trixie's Charm Check w/ Sense Emotions & Influence. Two white pips for Successes. Each extra success extends his support to an additional scene.

Trixie Ulan'jani; TotOR; Charm Check w/ Sense Emotions & Influence:
4 (2+2) Successes, 2 Advantages, 2 Light Side , 1 Dark Side

Hmm, the original Mandalorian species. Similar to the Sith being a species long before "Sith" grew to encompass anyone who followed their tenets.

Thanks for dredging up this bit of obscure SW trivia and injecting it into your game!

For those that don't know what a Taung looks like:

Please just tell me, as I'm having brain cramps and not at all able to do any deep thinking (such as puzzle solving). Some (perhaps much) of the blame is that I've been playing too much Cyberpunk 2077 for the past couple of weeks.

Lol, ok.

Arca knows the proper course of action is probably going to be to isolate whatever is in Lyriss' blood that makes the antibodies and sleeping sickness, replicate that in a culture/machine in the lab, then purge Lyriss's system. After that, he's going to want to talk to the holocron about Zyla and work on figuring out her condition. That's going to take him a few hours.

So the rest of y'all can explore, try to get into BioCorp computers, wait around, or anything else.

Arca will start on this process.
