So, we can try to talk to the other racer pair as Runt has suggested. I'd also like to see the odds on the race to get an idea of who the competition is.

Ah, right; the Aqualish and Twi'lek aren't racers. We could approach the twins, sure.

I also edited Buimo's comments to indicate that he knows the Aqualish isn't a racer. He's more concerned that Runt has made us a spectacle in general and that might turn people off to us.

The race starts at noon local time, odds are not listed. Only ship names are listed, besides your own and the two you know about there is the Spirit of Adventure, Trade Winds and The Wanderer.

Are you looking at sponsors or racers?

I'm thinking we could at least swing by the twins' booth and say something like, "Good luck tomorrow, from some fellow racers." Maybe not spend a whole lot of time but at least make an introduction. Then we can head to some other destination, whether it be scouting out sponsors or visiting the gambling center for odds, etc.

@SavageBob if you want to attempt to notice anything they were looking at on the datapad when you approached it's an average perception with a setback.

I think we're good to leave the cantina. Sounds like Runt wants new clothes, then we either hit up a bookie or casino for odds, or we do some other scouting.

studying the map isn't so strange, reminds me of how nicky lauder was portrayed in rush, always studying the race track

Yeah, but them closing the map like a teenager looking at an adult site is suspicious. It may be innocent, like pre-plotting the best course. Or they could be up to no good, planning to hide traps or mines or something tonight before the race.
