I'll have Buimo join you two after one of you responds to the conversation once more, just to make it seem reasonable for Buimo has time to make sure Runt drink his water.

@SavageBob I made the response, I haven't had much opportunity in the games i've played to utilize the characters thinking as a narrative device but I think that vo is shaping up to be a very pensive character, which allows me to reveal information about him and develop his character without the need for a response, it's very enjoyable.

So you guys have challenged the locals to a bet on the race. Anything else you guys want to do with them?

Yeah, Buimo's hoping to learn a bit more about the racing circuit and how these two got interested in it.
