The barracks are safer than most locations. I know this place inside and out follow us. 99 says as he begins making his way to the nearest door into the facility.

Maybe there's an escape path form the barracks? Maybe a Bond-like floor panel that leads to an escape speedboat beneath the barracks?

Wook hefts his blaster rifle to his shoulder, sighting down its length. "Lead on, I've got our rear covered."
Ice quickly gathers the young Clones to him, as he is known to them as an instructor in Survival and small arms. "Soilders, Tens is in charge here, grab a weapon and let's go." His gruff demeanor and voice taking on a slightly softer tone than usual.

THe group makes their way through the city towards the barracks. The occasional small group of droids blocking their path is quickly dealth with. Arriving at the barracks you find a long narrow hallway with banks of lockers heading off to a side. Latters lead to tubes on the upper levels which extend out revealing sleeping bunks for the cadets. 99 looks back towards the group. We can fortify ourselves here.

”On it!” Doc scrambles for the most likely door for the droids to follow them through. Tapping into the security system for the door he immediately placed it in lockdown. Once the door is dealt with he starts moving to the far door. The main advantage to securing it electronically is that they can access it quicker than if it was disabled mechanically.

No sooner does Doc finish locking down the read door when lond banging sounds and the sound of blaster fire can be heard at the first door. The fireing lasts only for a few momnets before the sustained cutting sound of torches can be heard at the door.

BigTen gets cover. Tries to make sure that he gets in a First Strike (Quick Strike Talents x2) when they come in the door. He aims real good-like.

Ice looks at the preparations as the squad gets ready for the next fight. "99, It may be better if you and the younger clones setup a fall back position. I'm thinking next to the Armory, what about you Tens?"

Wook positions himself next to the doorway, ready to provide a crossfire and possibly mix it up hand to hand to draw them off.

The flame from the torch continues to make its way around the door. As it reaches the far end completing the cut for a new entrance a silence sets into the room. The hiss of the torch ceases leaving only a red glow in its path. The newly cut piece beings to inch forward before collapsing loudly to the ground, numerous droids can be seen through the new opening.

A droid falls forward into the hole providing a small bridge for the others to cross over the still semi molten material around the edge of the cut.

BigTen (1099) takes the aim from before and takes another second to aim before firing. He drills a hole in the rows of clankers behind the gap in the door, taking out several of them.

Ice takes quick aim and fires his Relby, hoping to take out a droid in the doorway blocking it as the others try to come through. The shot from Ten taking out three droids distracts him just enough that he misses slightly wide, hitting the door itself. "C'mon M'soni get your act together, those young ones are counting on you." He mumbles to himself.

Not wanting to allow more to flood through the opening Doc fires again with his heavy blaster pistol. The fire allowing one of the others a clearer shot.

Wook waiting next to the door frame holds his rifle at droid head level. As a droid starts to step through the opening he pulls the trigger at almost point blank range, he watches the droid's head snap sideways from the blast, grunting in satisfaction.

Droids continue to fall in quick succession. Blaster fire from above your heads draws you attention to the clone cadets now kneeling in their bunks each with a standard issued blaster rifle. The cadets continue blasting in to the opening. The combined fire power prevents any droids from accessing the hole long enough to fire their weapons. Along the back door a hissing sound can be heard as a second torch begins to cut through.

back to PC turns. I am doing a pseudo initiative because I don't feel like the droids could have done anything significant under that onslaught.

Even though they have been able to repel the droids so far, Fuse decides his brothers won't survive if they try to hold this room. Not seeing another exit, he carefully take out his detonite charge, attaches it to the ceiling. Fuse says, "Heads up boys! New exit coming up."

A loud blast echos through the chamber momentarily overwhelming all of the cones com devices and preventing them from hearing anything. As the blast settles the influx of droids suddenly stops. The voice of General Kenobi can be heard through the intercoms announcing that the droid army is retreating.

Fuse switches his mic to the squad only channel and says, "Well frag. If anyone ask, the droids put this hole here." Then he heads over to check on 99 and the younger clones.
