Blast looks around their surroundings taking in the branches the fan and the view beyond and back the way they came. Probably only a matter of time before the Clankers figure out where they went.

Looking over the other troopers he’s relieved to see no obvious injuries on them though it doesn’t show with his helmet on.

Giving his head a little shake he addresses the others,”Don’t know how the Clankers got the drop on us there, but we couldn’t do any more in that control room. We probably don’t have much time but we still got an objective. So, any ideas how we get it done? I got three. Two that are probably crazy and one that’s definitely insane.”

Dusty would glance behind him every so often to make sure that the droids weren't on their tail. "Your descriptions don't fill me with confidence, but going back and fighting can't be much better I guess". He would tap the shoulder of the brother in front of him as he checks behind him again. "Anyone know how to stop the fan or do we have to kick it in?"

Doc keys the comlink to the next observation post on their 'tour'. "This is the inspection team, we will be landing shortly. Please advise us of the current situation when we land."

Problem is we don’t know where all the Clankers are or how many of them are in the base. They are also going to be in here pretty soon too. Plan two we get out and do the same thing to the antenna. Problem there is we’d be exposed and if even a fifth the sensors are operating we’re going to be swarmed in minutes.”Blast explains as he puts the knife away and waits for the blades to stop.

Option three, we check for when the inspection is inbound and just open up on the antenna from long range and hope they see the blaster fire and realize what’s going on. Downside is there is a chance we get straifed by our own side.”

He cocks his head as another sound can be made out now that the fan is going quiet,”Or given our luck the inspection team might already be here. That sound like a ship to you?

The rookies step outside and look up the do in fact see a fire spray landing on the space pad.
They attempt to use the radio but the inspection team is on a different frequency.

The team does have access to a single flare.

The fire spray touches down and the inspection team exits the ship. No guard is station on the pad against protocol. Within a few moments the base opens and sergeant O nine exits the building and approaches the team

Dusty would hum to himself slightly as he listens to the options presented. "I don't know if we have enough explosives to deal with the transmitter" he would say tapping his belt. "I already used mine. Besides, I don't know if you guys remember how, but I have no idea how to get there. I think trying to warn the incoming inspection is the best idea, so long as they don't just shoot us."

He would glance up at the sound of the ship coming in to land. Great, they're going to walk right into a trap. Whatever we do we need to do it fast!"

Blast curses under his breath as he gets the signal flare. He always wondered why they carried the things when on duty even if they never left the base.

Getting it oriented the right way around he holds the single use tube over his head and fires it into the sky.

There is no need. Everything is fine and fully operational. The sergeant replies as a clone signal flare goes off in their periphery vision.

Any of those on the platform can make an easy Perception, cool, or discipline check to realize the sergeant is a fake. (or at least highly suspect)

The ground around the rookies begins to shake ferociously. The moon is not known to earth quakes, but perhaps this is one of the space eels you were told about inhabiting the moon causing the disturbance.

Drawing his pistol Doc glanced at his teammates. The flare going off didn't seem right to him, something wasn't right here.

Wook notices Doc pull his pistol, but mistakes the reason why. Thinking it was because he was startled from the flare, Wook turns away from the sergeant to follow the flare's arc back to its source.

Blast staggers and drops the spent flare tube as the ground starts shaking.
”You have got to be kiffing with me. These things too?”

It occurs to him staying were the Eel is likely coming up is a bad idea and starts running towards the only friendlies in the area. Hitting his helmet comlink he begins cycling through Republic comm frequencies hoping to get lucky at least once today.

”This is CT-3656 to anyone who can hear me. Separatist forces have taken the outpost. Repeat Separatist forces have taken the outpost!”

Moments after Doc's pistol is drawn the blast doors open once again. This time a large number of droids fills the door and several anti vehicle weapons fire. The projecties flying across the space port until the collide with the firespray send the ship up in a large explosion.

Fuse is about to reach for a grenade when he hears Big10's orders. "Whoever, or whatever you are, when I see you again, I'll spread your parts across this rock!" Realizing that this may be a tough order to deliver, he heads down the cliff.

Seeing the inspection team making their way down the cliff Blast stops and turns back towards the more pressing problem.

“Right. Calm down, remember your training....deep breath..and out...”

Blast plants his feet aims the cannon and lets loose a sustained blast at the alien beast.
