@swrider I should have asked this before. What distance are we looking at to 99 and again to the Aquadroids?

So would that be an extra 56? (Base of 8)

Base Blaster Pistol 8D
7 Successes = 7D
8 + 7 = 15 - 7 Soak = 8 Wounds. (Takes one minion out)

Nice! My character is pretty useless without any grenades. Does someone else want to go next?

And kill your friend? It would take at least three advantages to set off a grenade. I'll give you an extra for each additional advantage.

I don't think any of the clone PCs would do that.... Ice maybe. Also your characters don't know what is in the bag.

Just playing Sith advocate, technically it only takes 2 advantage for Fuse to activate blast, and there's no morality, but... 99 and the droids aren't close to each other so that may not work anyway

Ice didn't have Point Blank as a Talent which is normally for short range or closer. Does that meant for Minions the extra Image count as an extra hit?

Also next question: How many droids could Wook knock down with a flying tackle? (Just one of those stray thoughts that popped in :D)

If I understand what you're asking correctly, Minions typically have 4-5 Wounds each, so a typical hit (with several successes, minus soak) can take out more than one Minion. Successes only count as extra damage. Several Advantages can activate a Critical or Autofire. A Crit automatically takes out a minion. Autofire, if used, causes another hit.

No hard rule for that! But I imagine an Athletics check would be in order and then interpret the results from there (being rather liberal with interpreting what would cause them to be knocked prone). A failure and you might mistime your jump, pro wrestling style. ;)

Maybe he holds the bag up over his head and yells, "Shoot the bag! It's the only way!"

It seems like you are getting a little confused by a GM rule within the game. Minion groups have a shared wound pool. if you have five minions with 5 wt each then the gm counts from 0 to 25. As each 5 mark is passed, i.e. 6, 11, 16... a minion dies. This is done for a few reasons. First rounds in star-wars last a minute or longer and the attacks represent the total damage from multiple shots in and of themselves. This is not to same as saying a multiple attack or autofire which add mechanically more damage. Second and the primary reason, this is done to facilitate the GMs record keeping requirements. It is easier to keep track of one set of damage than it is to track damage separately for each minion. I have actually adopted this approach for use occasionally in some of my live d&d games.

I am super busy this week guys. It looks like we have one more PC slot. I may or not get a post up this week. If I don't, I should be able to get one up next week.

Subscribe sets you up to get emails. Emails have been dialed for a year or so. I simpler removed the button that didn't do anything anyways. Bookmarking typos still works. That is what creates the notifications at the top.

Everything seems to have slowed down to a crawl lately.
I just reread the last IC post, and I guess the next question is how far out are the new batch of Aquadroids? And by Young Clones are we talking equivalent of adolescents?

Thanks for asking.

The droids you were immediately engaged with have been destroyed. There are many more around you so technically bolts are still flying, but this is a momentary pause in the action scene. At this point, the characters are realizing they need to move or fight to the death at their current location.

So not in combat, but combat is happening around you. That picture of the clones is about right so around that age. since clones age much faster than humans I am not sure what age that really is. T

The aquadroids below you are moving in at all ranges (you did not kill all of the first batch some made it to and under the bridge. new Aquad droids are on the landing you are on at about medium range, other groups are all over the entrances tops of the domes etc... basically, pick a direction and there are droids there at least on the outside of the complex.

Maybe its the mind fog of being in multiple games, but was there an obvious direction given to us? A landing pad? An available ship? A detail we might have missed?

Nope. You were assigned the bridge but that is not really an option at this point. The while base is in an uproar so as long as you keep killing droids you should be fine.
In the show the main characters help 99. You do not have to do that if you choose not to

Barracks is probably best so we can come up with a plan.

Wook naturally defers to 1099 as his squad leader. Ice has no real problem working with him and letting him lead even if he has been their instructor in the past.

Sorry for the delayed post, work has become ridiculous lately. BTW are we in or out of Initiative at the moment?
