What are we thinking for the ship upgrade/ attachment? Speed boost? More maneuverability? Steath? Awesome sound system?

Yes the squadron was for the space battle, but the shuttle could be fun too. Groups choice.

Kappa looks fine. Maybe until a new book give us something else.
Now, min-maxing probably says to go for an Advanced Targeting Array (1hp) and maybe a Hyperdrive Generator, but what does it really matter if the HD is 1 or 2? That's all a GM-controlled factor (time). If it take double the days to get somewhere, then does the GM just say, "You fail. Adventure over?" (No.)
Maybe Electronic Countermeasures (1hp) instead of HD?
I was thinking Reinforced Shield Generator (2hp). The Kappa only has front and rear shields. RSG and +1pt but has TWO +1 Mods to add +1 & +1. That way we could have 2 or 3 Defense (or 4?) to an area when needed.

You only have one hard point available to fill at this point. You can save it and get another hp after your next mission. Ie when you get back to base.

Adv Targeting Array is WELL worth it for one HP. We can always lose it to add something else in the future.

@DeepSpacer you can have the weapon attachments the replacements and the first armor attachment. No mods yet, but you can have a mod kit if a pc wants to roll to do the mod.

Thanks. That was the idea...PC's roll the Mods. Just looking for a chance. That Spin Barrel adds a Setback to Mech checks for it, so slim chance of that.
No Mods to have the Army do? Or, can I have the kits but PC's have to do them? Or, just ONE mod kit???

It should apply to all weapons, that would be WAY too expensive if it only worked on one!

No your duty reward was the ship for your last contributing rank. Attachments are simply requests as are mods. Right now no mods are being done by I am granting kits to a limited extent so players can try themselves.

Ok I’m guessing we are limited on how much we can get as far as attachments go, but here is my list from top being first to bottom being last.
Heavy Blaster Pistol (HP 3)
1.) Custom Grip - 500cr, HP 1, Rarity 6 [Weapon Quality Mod (Accurate +1) pg 54 SM]
Base Modifiers: Remove from all combat checks the weapon’s owner makes using this weapon. Anyone other than the owner adds to all combat checks made using it.
2.) Blaster Actuating Module - 500cr, HP 1, Rarity 4 [Mod later, pg 200 AoE]
Base Modifiers: Increases weapon damage by 1. Adds to all checks made using this weapon.
3.) Laser Sight - 500cr, HP 1, Rarity 5 [No mods available]
Base Modifiers: Gain automatic on successful combat checks with this weapon.
I’m asking for a lot, so if I can get any (or all of it) let me know. I’ll even forgo the mod kit if I can get 1 and 2.
Basically is it 1 attachment and one mod or could I get two attachments with no mods?

Tempted to see about a smaller gun but with the missile attachment. Having something that has confirmed anti-armour punch would be worth it.
On the other hand, I did get the Dawn of Rebellion book (so tempted to get the retired clone trooper specialization), which has an interesting option.
So if possible I’d like to trade in the sidewinder and my backpack for a MWC-35C repeating cannon. Also a pistol as it does have a chance of blowing up.

I guess work has been dragging away a lot this week, I so love 12-13 hour days. But I am alive and agree with the Kappa-class.
I have not yet had a chance to look into replacements or upgrading Wook yet, I should have some idea later today. Although replacement of his spent ion grenades would of course be a given request.

You need to roll for the mod. The kit just provides the masterwork to make the attempt.
