The next episode "rookies" was going to be skipped but it fits in perfectly with having three new players.
The new players will be starting in a new story thread with the veterans meeting up with them once their current mission is completed and they have an ooc break.

Doesn't matter if you read theis as long as your character doesn't know what is going on.

How many clankers are chasing us? Would it be worth it to kill them before fleeing? Or is it best just for us to run back to our ship?

At least that many, and that is if others did not pursue from another angle."Several bridges move out to the center drive. Already multiple squads of droids have arrived and you estimate nearly 20 B2s at least 10 B3, and a droiddekka on each of the bridges guarding the hyper-drive."
However....we may have some "backup" (Coins & Blast) coming by the time we hit the hangar.
I could go for a big shootout in the hangar. Maybe Blast & Coins came in as backup and and we pitch a defensive wall?

Likely so, but if people are ready to go sooner, then I don't see the issue. It let's you come in mid-battle. Gain a little XP. Up to the GM. I'm just throwing ideas out there because we have no chance fighting 20-30 droids at once. We could just have an orderly retreat and begin the next session soon instead of taking these battledroids on.

The only think we can't orderly, or disorderly retreat from right now are the possible droidekas chasing us, everything else we can out distance.

Droids are stupid the droidekkas are still guarding the busted hyperdrive. If you guys are ready to run for the ship I am good with that. Fell free to narrate your way back to and getting on your ship. You also need to respond to general skywalker ic. Once you are on the ship there is a bit more to take care of.

You guys decided to run which bumps us out of intitive. I am not planning on needing it again in your thread. If I do need it in both I will simply set up a second tracker.

Automated systems fail and manual release is stuck you will need to make an athletics check 2 boosts from docs check. Anyone can make it, average.

You get three boosts from the six advantages on the check to release the airlock. Those working on it notice something about the blasters giving you time to maneuver before the shooting starts.
I need a piloting check. 1/2 sil and speed. So depending on how fast you want to go the more difficult the check. You start at speed 1 and can increase to speed two. If you continue accelerating to max speed you will be out of the field in two rounds. if you stay at speed two it will take three. At speed one.... you are a sitting duck!
Since we have not done a lot of space combat recently. I would remind people of the ability to perform a co-pilot check to reduce piloting difficulty.

Co-piloting decreases the difficulty of a check which could help. I don't recall what plotting a course does. Players choice on what to do. I try not to dictate actions.
