What are the options? What does it take to "continue searching for survivors"? What kinds of rolls?

Nothing. You were contacted by two pods which said they were under attack you have rescued one. You also did not receive word from two others. They may be dead or their comms may be out. You simply need to select which one you want. The other option would be to ignore the captain and go hunting droid search parties or the main droid army.

I'd say head for the one we know to be alive and have the ARC fly over the other two to check for life signs.

I agree. Plus we can have the ARC scan and give us an update of what's happening in the battle space.

lol, you know it is all done by computer right? It is just as random for you as it is for anyone else. The problem comes because people are used to rolling real dice. Most real dice are not perfectly balanced and people tend to play around with their dice until they find the "good ones" which skews the odds in their favor. In my RL games my players sometimes joke about how well they are doing based on what dice I roll. They know I have my real dice which roll well then my GM dice which roll badly and I used to keep players from dying.

One down side to Digital dice: no dice shamimg.

Hey, I would like to join your game if there is space available. Not sure how player creation works in this game but I'd like to play a saboteur or sharpshooter, unless there is already a gap that needs to be filled.

@crazybirdman I have added a new post in the character development thread. You will get starting xp, since this is only the second mission that won't put you to far behind the group and represents you being a new recruit. Once your character is done you can jump in as any one of the nameless clones in the game right now.

Yes I know it's digital dice, but it has never mattered much in my case. I've also never found a good set of dice in general either and I have multiple sets. I just tend to be the guy that ekes out a roll or normally just misses, but it does make for some interesting role-play 😁

@awarren is thinking of running a call a cathulu game. That system uses mostly percentile dice and lower numbers are better. That may be your game.

You can get to medium withiut them noticing short with. Sucessfull hard stealth check.

So Wook is taking a Crit of a Nick because his soak cancels out the rest? Or did I read that wrong? Do the 10 & 12 Strain do something else?

I accidentally edited your post instead of replying


10 damage- soak and 12 damage- soak and one crit.

the crit rolled a one which is a small nick which deals 1 strain.

you end up taking 12 damage after soak and 1 strain you also have a crit that needs to be healed.

Sorry for the delay. This is a great place to meet the new PC. As the final two droids fall you see republic fighters head into the sky and landing vessels appear. The captain calls you back to the extraction point at your fire-spray. You guys can narrate it as I want to allow some roll play with the new pc.

What's the difficulty for the Medicine check on Wook? I think there was a crit or something?
